Yessirreeboberoonie! I'm taking Johnny and our girls to see Spidey 2 on Monday! It doesn't open officially for normal citizens until Wednesday! Where's the BertStation for teasing when you need him?!
I love being Swerb-Sweet!

Heh heh... is the screening Monday night at Star Theater? If so, I'll be there, too.

Yeah, it was from the Grand Rapids Press mail-in contest. Guess we'll see ya there! Can't wait!
By the way, Swerb... July 3 is Free Comic Book Day! Do you think there's any chance of a write-up in the Press? Should I fax a press release to someone's attention? It's pretty sweet as all the major publishers, distributors and comic shops are all taking part. Rookies is taking part of course -- it's the 3rd year!

Yes, Swerb is sweet by many stardards. I like his job reviewing cheap eats. Plus he his cool enough to bring along his buddies on the press' dime AND give them cameos in the paper. It could be a our claim to fame. Check out this crazy link.....

Looks like we'll be seeing you there, Swerb. That's right, because we're Swerb-Sweet! I was able to contact Bert to let him know about our advanced screening. I may have rubbed it in a little much to his chagrin. See you there, Swerbstation!

I was only curt because my phone was literally about to die. But yes, I'm jealous of you fuckers. I want to see this movie so bad it hurts.

The more I see about this movie the more I want to see it. I'm glad I only have to wait till tomorrow. I've seen a MTV and a VH1 special on Spidey 2. They showed fight footage not shown in the previews and it was amazing. I haven't looked forward to a movie like this in a while.

Well, Zilla, I know you asked for some ink for free comic book day, but if you've seen today's Press, you'll note that you're quoted - and the store gets a plug - on the front frickin' page! How's that for service?

I haven't seen it yet, Swerb. But this much is clear: As much as we may all try, we have a long way to go before any of us are truly Swerb-Sweet.

Swerb is indeed sweeter than the rest of us. What can be done about it? Assassination is a viable solution, wait, did just write that? Note to self, must get control over inner monologue.

THIS is the Roche that's been missing from JA for the past couple months. I guess it took a sweet ass movie to get you out of your funk. Welcome back, my friend!

Funny how a sweet ass movie is not unlike a catharsis. I'll feel better once I see it a third time. Even Zilla wants to take in a second viewing, unprecedented.

Hey now, I saw the first Spidey twice! The first Batman I saw 4 times in the theater alone. That's the record holder for me.

I love Batman, but Spidey is sweeter for sure. Spider-Man 2 was a better movie than any of the Batman movies. I expect you to see this movie at least 4 times, I know I am.

You're discounting the Prince factor, my friend.

After being called twice at the store by customers who saw it, I finally made it home to read my own copy of the The Grand Rapids Press last night. Dudes, its sweet! For those Jackasses that don't subscribe to this fine publication, the front page has an article on Spider-Man 2 and how much money its expected to make. I'm quoted a lot regarding how the movie was (the writer had to weed through a lot of "sweet"s I'm sure) and why I think Spidey is popular.
Once again, well done Dr. Swerbius!
