Thank you Ross.  Seriously.  Great movie.  When that kid drinks the blood from the deer they shot and becomes a bad ass.  The scene on the rocks.  The scene near the end in the town, where Patrick Swayze is carrying his brother out. One line.  "Now get up there and piss in the radiator."

Come to find out that Heather is also borderline subhuman and has also not seen this fine example of 80's high school angst meets cold war paranoia.  In other words, an instant classic that probably doesn't hold up well over the years.  Nonetheless, it is my duty as a husband to bring her into the light. Plus I had her at "Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey".

Zilla, you definetly meet the demographics that SHOULD have seen Red Dawn! Granted Prince wasn't on the soundtrack, but it still was super-sweet! Have you seen Dirty Dancing? If you have watched Dirty Dancing and not Red Dawn, I will let Ross take care of you! Rad, you are a little younger, so I will cut you a little slack.... What about the scene where Patrick Swayze discovers that their buddy swallowed the bug from the Russians and they were being tracked? We can't forget C. Thomas Howell was in the movie as well.... Cute baby pics Zilla! Anna is getting so big! Where's Fatty?

I don't think Ross has seen Dirty Dancing in its entirety either.  As he said about me above, you two are also "borderline subhuman".  Another classic 80s movie that he hasn't seen...Footloose.  I think Ross and I are in need of an 80s movie weekend very soon. BTW, did you see the latest news on Patrick Swayze?  Very sad!

That is horrible news. My Uncle died from pancreatic cancer two years ago. He died 46 days after he was diagnosed. There are usually no symptoms until the cancer has metastasized, and by then it's too late. Zilla, please tell me you have atleast seen Footloose... Dirty Dancing was on one of movie channels a few weeks ago and I did watch it again...

Well, I own both Footloose and Dirty Dancing.  Ross will be watching them both very soon!  He always makes me watch older movies that I've never seen so it's only fair that he do the same.

It will be a challenge to get Ross to watch my movies since they aren't HD.  However, he has no choice, now that he opened up this can of worms by mentioning Patrick Swayze/Jennifer Gray.

We can we look forward to your reviews of Dirty Dancing and Footloose? I believe you can get the 20th Anniversary Special Edition of Dirty Dancing in HD.
