What's really weird is that the title of this episode is "Petarded" - because we find out that Peter is retarded. It is simply uncanny that Roche used the exact same joke calling me "Bertarded" at least 10 hours before this episode aired.

Speaking of creationists (originally), this link is quite long, but it's a college professor explanaining to a "comparative physiologist" why the salinity of plasma of humans and most other animals is closer to freshwater than salt water. It sounds like a boring topic but the guy is super sweet in his answer. You don't have to read every detail but he really outlines some great facts about animals in the course of his explanation. It becomes very clear that humans are basically freshwater animals that happen to live on land.     All I know is that after reading his answer, it becomes apparent to any rational person that evolution is extremely well supported.     http://www.talkorigins.org/origins/postmonth/may05. html

I have to say that this little blog entry was enthralling to me. As the author says, it's basically pop sociology that he's engaging in, but I found this to be very engaging and informative.
