I figure even an albino marmoset is better than the fat guy in the last picture. This is from the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, which I haven't yet picked up. Swerb, have you read it yet? How's the article?

For the Bone's sake, I sure hope Alba isn't that flabby in the Fantastic Four movie.

Sin City makes the cover of this week's EW by the way along with "is this the next PULP FICTION?" or some such blurb.

I do love me some albino marmoset!

The Sin City article is pretty good... just read it today. There are some cool photos, and, although I've avoided this fray in previous (multiple) posts, I think Alba is smokin' in that Nancy outfit. It makes me want to dump ice down my pants.

The article doesn't tell us much beyond what we already know, but what thought was sweet is, Rodriguez is filming the movie shot for shot, just like the story is laid out in the comic book. Now THAT'S serious respect for the source material.

By the way, I saw Constantine yesterday, and if anybody cares, it's pretty mediocre.

All this talk of Alba in Sin City... Let's not forget Rosario Dawson's also in the movie. That's some SMOKIN' hot chocolate there!

Agreed, Jack. Actually, the only reason to watch Alexander when it comes out on DVD is for Ms. Dawson's nude scene. She's curvy in all the right places... but otherwise, the movie isn't worthy of a boot 'n' flush.

I love the movies of the Gladiator genre but have stayed away from Alexander. I even liked the mediocre Troy. Is Alexander worse?

Way worse, from what I saw. Though I did pretty much just fast forward to the nudity. Though still recommended, even it was tainted by stupidity.

Tainted by stupidity... you're right on, Bert. In fact, it's the stoopidest scene in the whole movie.

Yeah, that's sweet as hell... the new trailer shows more of the movie's scope, how it's going to look overall, a better sense of color and style. I do have to say, however, that the first trailer is a bit better - it gave me goosebumps.

Also, this could be the first movie with Brittany Murphy in it to be worth two shits. She is, however, just trashy-looking enough to fit the role perfectly. Actually, let's hope the movie is worth more than just two shits - three, four, maybe 20 shits!

Bert, did you ever read the Entertainment Weekly cover story on it?

Sweet! I do miss the sinister "Peter Gunn Theme" that played over the logo in the original teaser. But this movie is gonna rock! I'm still excited for Batman Begins too!

I saw the trailer for Sin CIty on TV the other day. I will say that it was interesting as far as bringing a comic book feel to it, but I'm not sure how it will pan out. There better be a damn good story behind it.
