Wow, They finally came through! Thats sweet that he remembered after a year! I am getting a pair of those Indian outfits - The long white shirt with the Chinese collar and the matching pants - straight from India. A buddy is bringing it to me - they sure look comfortable. Now these sandals, well I'll see if they are comfortable. They are very third-worldish. I'll wear these with my India outfit and Adventure Willie (tm) hat. Watch out ladies!
We will firgure out how I can get them. If one of us will visit one another, or you posting them to me. I'd like to have them for the summer. Thank Uncle Pedro for me!

Don't hate the Playa my friend..... These are authentic, handmade, Spanish grape-stomping shoes. I got them for slippers to wear around the house - because they are unique. However, I could see them making it as on the town gear :) The pair I originally saw had the front wrap around only the big toe.

As soon as I saw this picture and the explanation that these were Fatty's shoes, I knew for a fact that the very next resposne would be from Bone to chastise his fashion sense. It's like a natural law or something - experiments confirm its veracity every time.
By the way Fats, I don't know what country you're from, but wrapping your feet in twine doesn't register as "comfortable" around these parts.
