Well, my friends, I know this has been addressed time and again, but I feel that if you can't get some support from your friends, where can you get it? I have been off the Zone wagon for about 3 weeks or so, and my life is suffering heavily for it. Bone, I know you have been meaning to get back into it - what is your status?
This weekend was a total loss for me as Serba and Stacy came into town and we pretty much ate/drank with abandon. I haven't been to the gym since well before I moved. My only saving grace is my activity levels are relatively high from moving and packing and cleaning. However, my stress levels are astronomical right now and I feel like absolute crap.
Today is the first big day back on the Zone. Heather and I are working out as soon as I get home from work tonight. Is anyone jumping back into it with me? Come on, you know you want to! |

You are not alone my friend. The Bone adventures caused Roche, Fatty and Bone to put on about 10 pounds each. Roche and I are doing the minimal amount of weight training plus frequent trips to the loading zone.
I shall get a tattoo on my belly which will read "Born to be Fat"

You should actually just make the tatoo say "Br o b Ft" so that when your belly expands even further, you can tatoo the missing letters in over time. It will make for a much more attractive display, which is clearly what you're interested in: making your belly more attractive.

The Loading Zone was in full effect on Saturday night. The Power Trio of Zilla, Roche and Fatty went to Ball's for dinner. We each got a Pork BBQ for dinner and a Chicken Croissant to be enjoyed later as a midnight snack. Needless to say all three of us ate both of our 'wiches right then and there. The midnight snack then became $5 pies from Little Sleezers. We ate 2 pies (with the help of Josh & Ron -- though I don't think they helped much).
It was a sad sight though: By 10:00 pm Roche was taking a nap (he was sooo tired, the poor boy) and Fatty was playing KOTOR by himself. Fuck KOTOR and fuck nap-boy Roche! Hike up your skirts, sit down and play some Halo you pansies!!

It was a sad sight indeed. The loading Zone made me sluggish and fatigued. I was sleeping like a little baby right in the middle of game night, for shame.

Except for a bowl of ice cream every night after dinner, I've been eating well and working out. I definitely feel better. Ross - your theory on being strong is proving correct. All you have to do is eat a lot. When I got back from vacation, I was 8 lbs heavier and strong as fuck. I had a lot of diarrhea though.

That's eerily similar to my recent activities, Bone. For the past 3 weeks, I've had diarrhea every day after lunch, and my diet hasn't been the greatest. Especially on the weekends, I ate a lot, and like shit. However, last night was my first weightlifting session in over three weeks, and I didn't lose one ounce of strength - if anything, I was slightly stronger.
Long live lifting and shitting! And I'm back on the creatine, baby! Stinky Brainiac Johnson is in the hiz-ouse!

You know, that's funny, because I worked out for the first time in 3-4 weeks on Monday, and same thing: Save for going easier on the forearm work cuz of my carpal tunnel pains, I didn't go down any weight. Here's to laying around like a pig, eating Taco Bell and getting stronger!
