Roche is ON LINE
Entered on: April 9, 2003 12:15 AM by Ross
After many hours spent toiling at his residence near Grand Rapids, MI, Ross Johnson has finally acheived a modest familial interface to the state of technological communication known as the Internet for the Roche clan. John boy is now up and running at john@jackassery.com, though it is at present unclear as to the frequency of his email attentiveness.

His current computer is roughly 3 parts crap (notably CPU and motherboard) to 2 parts modernity (RAM and hard drive), but it should suffice for the time being aid in illumination of such matters as the likely outcome of a confrontation between a lion and a tiger, and resolving the dispute between interested parties as to the bird with the largest wingspan. Thanks, Google!

It was fun while it lasted. Apparently the CPU that I gave him had no fan and I think it overheated and now every time he pulls up Internet Explorer, it crashes. So I bought a new cheap CPU and fan and I'm going to install it next Saturday. He was able, however to use Yahoo Messenger. The conversation was great:

Ross: That sucks. But were you having fun before it all went to hell?
John: I am quite chafed.

I feel we are at the precipice of the downfall of Roche. Johnny's schedule was already chock full of XBOXing and talking on the phone. I was not sure how he would fit in the internet. But John pervailed. Faced with only 24 hours in a day, Johnny was able to add internet time without cutting into his other activities. His solution - Forgoing sleep. This adds at least 6 hours of productive porn wallowing. I am curious to see how this certain battle of sleep vs unlimited porn plays out. I'm betting on the porn.

I just had the "lion vs. tiger" discussion with Willy and in regards to the outcome he kept telling me that "it depends on the type and size of the bear." I couldn't get him to understand that there was no bear. Strange.

I fear you're right, Willy. Ever since this weekend when I re-hooked him up, he's been online (according to yahoo messenger) pretty much all day. Good thing that internet is unlimited usage! I don't think his wang can say the same at this point...
