TV UPDATE:
- The final season of Entourage was weak with the last couple episodes particularly chicken shit.
- Breaking Bad continues to rock. Love this show!
- Sons of Anarchy is back and still great stuff. Love this show!
- Curb Your Enthusiam ... another short season is over. Still hilarious stuff. Larry David cracks my ass up.
- True Blood, Season 4 - We watched the first episode and gave up. It was so turdy. I don't know as we'll give it another shot during a TV dryspell or not.
Stay tuned for another Jackzilla entry on Jackassary in 6 months!!! Don't miss it!

Entourage: agreed. Letdown.
Breaking Bad: Best show on TV.
SOA: Still sweet, even got Heather in even though she hasn't seen the first 3 seasons.
Curb: Sweet as always. Leon continues to be my favorite.
TB: sucks.
Wow, 5/5 agreement with Zilla! Will wonders never cease?

Dude, Bells and I love Leon! My favorite of the season is Leon driving Larry's Prius to NYC: "Ya know Larry, I always thought this was a bitch-ass car, but this motherfucker has HEART!" Toyota should use that quote!

Dude - did this corpse just flinch? It just might have some life! Maybe FB has its place.. but it is still no JA! Its one thing to make a generic comment to 400 of your friends which is carefully crafted not to offend anyone or get you fired... but then what fun is sharing your opinion or just being an ASS. At least here, only a choice few have knowledge of our suitability for civilized society.
I will download season 1 of Curb. You know you bitches are jealous because you wish you could rediscover it as I am about to.

Dude, I was really feeling jealous of you watching Curb for the first time, then I remembered that you live in Hungary. Seriously, you have some fun times ahead!
Did everyone watch the season finale of Breaking Bad? Fuck that was sweet!
Now bring on The Walking Dead next week! I hope it's shaken off the CDC stank and it returns to the sweetness of the first half of the season!

Ding ding ding!! Now that was a sweet ass final season! Not like some pussy pull-it-out-of-your-ass LOST ending.
I started watching community - couldn't keep compete for my TV time alocation, same for Parks and Rec.
The Office with Andy as boss has yet to win me over.
Boardwalk Empire is on the roster. I watch it and like it, but it lacks fizz.
I'll have to give SOA a try. It seems to be properly endorsed.

Yes, the BB finale was great. The two-face thing was gimmicky, but still sweet.

Topics to stir discussion:
1. Did anyone like Captain America? Though he's my favorite character, I thought it was an unwatchable turd.
2. Walking Dead is still sweet.
3. Is Bunky good in the sack?
4. Who is working out? I've been doing crossfit for the last 9 months. I'm 205 and in great shape. Heard Roche is lean and ripped.
5. For Creeko - I finally brke down and bought a pair of Ecco Track II's. Great shoe. Should have bought them 15 yrs ago.

1. I liked Captain America. That an X-men First Class I thought were the best 2 super hero movies this year. Thor was ok. Green Lantern is the unwatchable turd.
2. Walking Dead is sweet. The TV show this season is better than the last half of the first season. The comic book is still better by a margin though. Read it. It has pictures and everything.
3. Bunky fucks like a wolverine with two vaginas.
4. I'm still working out. 3 times a week. Still 195. Eat sloppy, then eat good, then eat sloppy. I keep thinking I'd like to get to 185, but apparently it would take more effort than it's worth. I refuse to go over 200 again. If you see Roche, be sure to say he looks "little" or "skinny"... he loves it.
5. The shoes are red I assume? Cool.
Bone - Are you making it out this way for Thanksgiving? There's been rumors. I know Bells is dying to do some Kitchen Jujitsu with you. Me? I'll stick to Fruit Ninja.

1. Haven't seen X-Men First Class yet but the preview looks ok. Saw Thor - just ok. If you liked Captain America and thought Green Lantern sucked, I'll steer clear.
2. Agreed
3. That's herny
4. Good on you. My short tem goal is to drop 10 more lbs by Christmas. I haven't been 195 lbs since kindergarten. Still, I'd like to maintain strength. Its hard when you get skinny.
5. I'd rather walk barefoot over hot coals than wear red shoes. No, the Ecco Track II's are regular looking and comfortable as hell. Comes in a boot version as well.
I'm too poor to fly up for Thanksgiving. Just bought another house and need to do some renovations on it, added with the fact that I just spent 3K on airfare to and from Hawaii for Owen't birthday party and Christmas.

1. Sweetet Super Hero Movie for me was Scott Pilgrim (not shure if it's actually a Super Hero movie though)
2. WD is on my list to watch after I get SOA all cought up. Just started S.4
3. Dose that mean adamantium claws will come out of her snatches and cut your dick off?
4. My current shape status is round and soft - still under 200 lbs. though.
5. I think I'm on my 5th pair of Ecco Tracks. The Creeko Suave red shoes are a little worse for wear, however I still sport them about town in the summer months.

Creeko - Scott Pilgrim was epic and we loved it. Especially since we got free tix from THE SWERB to see it!
Bone - That sucks regarding Thanksgiving. Have you broke it to Bells yet?

Nice to have some discussion back! Screw Facebook, the conversation killer.
1. I didn't find Captain America to be an unwatchable turd, rather it was mildly disappointing for me. My son seems to be more on your side, though, Bone, since he was begging to leave before it was over and apparently the movie has soured him on the character completely.
I am still yet to see Green Lanturd, but enjoyed X-Men First Class well enough. Thor I thought was about on par with Captain America - watchable but I don't really feel the need to watch them again anytime soon.
Expectations for next summer's Avengers are ridiculously high, though. I read that the trailer they released a couple weeks back broke records on Apple's movie trailer site.
Also I agree with Creeko for once, Scott Pilgrim was so sweet that it might have been my favorite movie from last year.
2. Walking Dead is sweet but I'm confused about why it's deviating so far from the comics. Also, the excessive verbosity, which doesn't bother me in the comics does grow tiresome for me in the show. The comics are far better, I agree with Zilla. But the show is still good.
Also SOA is super sweet and I don't understand how there's going to be another season after this one - this seems like everything's coming to a head and it should end here.
3. Are you guys playing Gears 3 these days online? I haven't fired up multiplayer once, and at this point I'm unlikely to since MW3 comes out tomorrow.
4. I have finally decided to get my arse back in shape after hardly touching a weight in years. My weight was creeping back up and I was just generally being lazy and overeating/drinking. Even though my weight wasn't absurd (please see obligatory Ross Weight chart), the lack of weightlifting meant I had less muscle and more fat to be at the same weight as before, so in a word, I was getting to be a fatty again.
Then in September a gym opened up across the street from my office, so I joined - mainly at the time to have an excuse to get out of the office during the day. But I soon started getting really into it, both cardio (the elliptical doesn't do anything, running does tons of shit) and weights-wise, as well as going on a pretty strict diet. I was making pretty good progress and my pants size went down from 34 to 32 for the first time in several years, and my weight (again, not the best metric, but it's something) went to early high school levels.
Then about 5 or 6 weeks ago, I was having a nice short-but-intense dumbell workout and in the shower afterward noticed a bulge in my groin, just above my business, on the right side. It didn't hurt so it didn't immediately occur to me that it was in fact a hernia (not so herny, as it turns out).
So, I got myself in for surgery a bit more than a week later, and this Thursday will be 4 weeks since the surgery, at which time I am "allowed" to go back to the gym to lift and run. I'm still not feeling tip-top down in that whole region so I won't be able to go full force just yet, but I'm eager to get back. My goal is to get lean enough to see all of my abs, which I realize is a tall order for an old man such as myself who's never been that lean in his whole life.
5. Red shoes are geigh.

It's not a done deal. If one of you internet savvy folks can find a good deal on travel from ORF to GRR departing afternoon of 23rd and returning 27th, I'll mosey on out the back door. I can't find anything less than mid-$500.

What what what! The gangs all here.... mostly.
Do I need to give a fitness update? Well, umm, yeah, about that. I am with the brohair - round, just shy of 2 Hun and 2 Fun. But serious about thinking about reading about stuff to do about being fat. Got the 4 Hour Body Bone, thanks for the tip and sorry for the late reply - 4 months. Still reading up on the Marksdailyapple.
Hell, I almost made it to the US in Oct. Found tickets for under $600 to Shit-taco. But, dragging my feet quickly made the tickets go over $850.
I am going to DL the Scott Pilgrim thingy tonight!
On season 4 of Curb and re watching Breaking Bad. Loving it.... Oh, and had to get Gilmore Girls for the girlfriend.

To clarify, he means he got the book The Four Hour Body. "The 4 Hour Body Bone" is something else entirely - it's the treatment I reserve for Bunky.

ZILLA'S TV UPDATE!
Per usual these days, I find the best TV shows better than most movies:
1. Justified Season 3 was great! Loved the main villain this season: "stupid baby-head guy"
2. New Spartacus was good. Miss the original Spartacus and Batiatus.
3. Shameless. Anyone else what this Showtime series starring William H Macy? So wrong, so fun.
4. Mad Men is back! Anyone else love this show? The last episode with Pete getting beat the F up by "Mr. Toad" had me rolling!
5. Anyone talk about The Walking Dead yet? Great second half of the 2nd season. And the ending? OMG! Very excited for next season. Frank Darabont who!? Swerb - You stopped your episode reviews on your blog!?

6. Forgot to mention The Office this season! Despite the departure of Michael (who of course I miss) this show is still one of the funniest on tv. The rest of the cast is so entertaining that it's making it in a post-Michael world.
7. The Big Bang Theory. I think it's gotten better with time. Great stuff!
8. Modern Family and Raising Hope also a lot of fun!
9. How do I keep up with all this great TV!?!

I never talked to anybody about the ending of this season and the interminable wait for Shane to get offed. Did anyone else find his manner of death to be less powerful in the series than the comics? The fact that Rick killed him and Carl only killed zombie Shane was less powerful to me because killing a zombie is a no-brainer (no pun intended) and not controversial or unusual in that particular setting, even if it is a former "friend". But the way it happened in the comics was much more of a "Wow!" moment. I didn't like that. To say nothing of this unnecessary deal where merely dying - not just of a zombie bite - will turn you into a zombie.
All in all, it was still one of the series I looked forward to watching the most, but it's not nearly as good as the comics, nor some of the other stuff on AMC (especially Breaking Bad).

Actually, that's right out of the comics. I was afraid that WASN'T the case in the show, but the characters just didn't realize it. Everyone is infected in the comics too. I do agree though, as fun as the show is, it's not on the level of Breaking Bad or Mad Men, and the comics are way better.
Anyone excited to see THE AVENGERS? Jackzilla, Johnnybells, Radmobile, Wonderboy, Swerb, etc. are seeing a 3D EARLY RELEASE FOR FREE this Wednesday. Hate on us. Hate on us HARD! Can't wait!

Really? I'll be damned. I really thought it wasn't in the comics, but I'll take your word for it. Even so, doesn't seem like it matters much anymore as the zombies become ever-more secondary to the whole story.
Still, that's not my main gripe - it's that Carl killed Zombie Shane and not Crazy Shane, the latter being so much better.
And yes I hate on you for your Swerb Sweetness. I'm thinking of taking next Friday off so Logan and I can see an early matinee.

I got 10 free passes at the store. Marvel Studios called last week "We would like to send you 10 free passes if that would be ok." Gee, ya think?

I just read some too - wow! Sounds like everything I was hoping it would be. Hard for my expectations to be higher, really. I don't like being in this place. :)
Anyway, I just locked down tickets for next Friday afternoon for Logan and I to go. Can't wait!
