Ross as a child

This is how I envision Ross playing his video games as a youngster.  We've probably all witnessed his "passion" while gaming.  This is how it all began.

Heather, can you tell yet if Logan has inherited the "passionate gamer" gene or if it's going to skip a generation?

Still too early to tell, but I'm really hope it skips a generation.  I don't know if I'm strong enough to deal with more than one "passionate gamer"!!!

Passion is a funny thing.  I am definitely a "passionate gamer".  While it's being used as a euphimism for loud/angry/unreasonable/etc. in this thread, I think it works in both directions, equally.  I firmly believe that my 'lows' are equal in intensity to my 'highs'.  When I'm angry/frustrated/upset, it can be a scary thing to witness (keeping in mind that I NEVER direct my anger at anyone).  At the same time, I think I find a lot of things more funny than other people.  It's not unheard of for me to see or read something that will incapacitate me with laughter, when other people think it's funny, but not nearly as much as I do.  Maybe it means I'm easy to entertain (though I don't think so).

Passion is the proverbial double-edged sword... but it's made of lots of other swords... and the handle is a sword...
