Sorry, been busy at work, and now I'm fighting Verizon again as I still don't have my fucking money! I'm in the middle of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Ross's complaint has been added to the pile of BBB complaints against Verizon:

POSSIBLE INDY 4 SPOILER ALERT:
It was funny to me that when watching Indy 4, when they walked into the warehouse at the beginning, they played the music for the Ark. And I whispered to Swerb "Hey! That's the Ark music! They can't do that!" and then the camera pulled back to reveal crate upon crate and I go "oooooh! That's where the Ark is!"

Rad, that post is making my blood boil!!!!!!
This is priceless:
G: [big sigh] Okay, I think I have to do this again. Do you recognize that there's a difference between one dollar and one cent? A: Definitely. G: Do you recognize there's a difference between half a dollar and half a cent? A: Definitely G: Then, do you therefore recognize there's a difference between .002 dollars and .002 cents A: No. G: No? A: I mean there's... there's no .002 dollars.

Clearly there is no airbrushing in this photo and Swerb still appears to have baby soft skin! I must know his secret to his skin! He doesn't even have the slightest lines around his eyes!
Is there You Tube video of the Sprockets dance Spider?
Ross, I hear Verizon employees get sidetracked easily at the office. Maybe this is why your refund has been delayed.

This right here will be my cornerstone argument as to why we should implement euthanasia and enforce an intelligent quotiant on all working adults.

So what would happen to you then, Mr. Quotient?

Why does this have that strange Ross versus Crockett vibe to it? Any thoughts Fatty?

Because of course I was serious when discussing euthanizing millions of people based on there intelligence.
But no, I probably would not pass the test, due to my obvious spelling and gramatical errors, and need to be euthanized. And the world would be a better place because of it.

Nick Nick, there is no shame in taking medication that makes you happier in life. I know a pharmacist that would be willing to give you a confidential consult....

Oh yeah. My pharmacist knows me well. I've talked to a counselor as well and I'm fully aware of the complete idiocy of said depression. Knowing it's irrational doesn't seem to help lessen it at all. If anything, it just frustrates me more.
But let's move on. I don't require pity parties.
Back to Rad's post. I wanted to copy it and share it with everyone but I was afraid that too many people wouldn't grasp the concept and that would further illustrate how stupid we are as a country.
We're not going to lose our country because of some military invasion. We're going to lose it because we keep trying to dumb everything down for the "no child left behind" crap and in doing so, we're dumbing down our nation.

If your medication is not working, you should try a different one. There are alot of different meds out on the market, and it is not a one size fits all.
A lot of people suffer from depression. I am not throwing you a pity party, sarcasm is more my brand
You should not be frustrated. The fact you are aware that the depression exists and willing acknowledge it is a good thing. That doesn't make you and idiot.
The are many different reasons for depression. There can be a genetic link, it can also be related to the family atompshere you were raised in and how that affects your ability to make decisions today and your self esteem. You could have a neurochemical factor contributing to the depression as well.
You shouldn't beat yourself up over it. If you feel this way it is obviously not irrational, it is how you feel. I hope things get better for you.

Well, Jack is tall and I wish I was tall. Bone lives in Hawaii. You vacation in Hawaii. Herny Berlz has 18 yr old nymphettes lusting after him. And Josh, oh, wait. I fell a lot better about my life. I could be Josh. Poor Annie.

I'd like to chime in on depression... I am not up to date on your condition Nick^2, so I hope this is not too bothersome for you (If you are hitting a rough patch).
A close friend of mine in the US was going through a rough patch and feel into a depression. It is not something you can really avoid. Once you are aware of it, it usually is too late. Well, being depressed just made his situation worse. He began a downwards spiral. Luckly he got to the docs and got on some meds which made a ton of difference.
It is easy to glamorize parts of other peoples lives. Everyone has their own load of shite to deal with (except the Bone). Some just have more than others.
What is interesting to me is noticing how much more common depression is these days. I am curious if it is happening to more people, or it is happening at the same rate as before but now is openly discussed. If there are more cases, it is a curious thought to see if our modern lifestyles lend us to more depression. Long working hours in sedintary jobs with little sunlight?? Coming home and only watching TV? I've read that exercise and sunlight help keep your hormones in check and fight off mild depression. The problem is when you are depressed, you don't want to do anything.
One of my ex-girlfriends had a long bout of depression (Before, during, and after me... I know... you think the Fatty prescription would have cured her). She was miserable for 3-4 years. I bet she would have been a lot better off talking with a doc and getting the hook up after the first few months.
Even the Fatz is stuggling over in Yurope. I've always had a sleep problem. Living over here can be very difficult and soon my sleep got even worse. Currently I am taking sleeping pills from the doc to get that part of my life in order. But, we consider a mild to medium case of depression could be a factor.

Depression is an interesting topics. If it wasn't so much work, I might have gone into psychology.
There are just so many damned things that contribute to depression. For instance, one could be struggling with weight, and struggling with sleep due to children, and just moved in with the in-laws because they're renting their house out for a year, and living in Michigan which gets about 25% the amount of sunlight as the rest of the year, and working in a tiny cubicle dealing with the exciting world of insurance all day long. That person, let's call him Bob, would definitely be a candidate or have potential for depression. Then when you throw in the genetics, the fact that four people on his dad's side of the family have taken their life. You might understand "Bob's" struggles a little bit. :)
I agree with you Fatty. I think the main reason it seems to be increasing is because it's becoming more acknowledged. That's not to take anything away from the contributions of the stress and changes that have happened over the last 100 years.
But there is a bright side. I might be getting picked up by a small publisher for my comic book. Just think Swerb, you could be reviewing a movie based on my comic book in 10 years and be saying, "I remember when Nick Myers was a whiny little bitch instead of a brilliant creator much like Neil Gaiman or Frank Miller."

Well Nick Nick, it sounds like "Bob" has begun to identify the issues causing his depression. That is a big step.
Where "Bob's" family has a history of suicide, he should also be concerned with Bi-polar Disorder (Maniac Depression) since that has more of a tendency to have a direct genetic link versus regular depression which can be more related to familial interactions over time and learned patterns developed in early life that care over to how you make decisions in your adult life.
I hope things work out for your comic book. That would be great.
I was considering trying to get into medical school when my husband decided he wanted to continue on to get his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. There was no way we both could have pulled it off, and he was already accepted. He has tried to get me to go back now, but I won't do that to my kids.
