The only time that I've ever been to Vegas is when my family drove through at 3am in the morning on our way out to California.  That was my experience. Megan and I have talked about possibly taking a trip like that pretty soon.  All though, it would most likely be to a local casino than out to Vegas.  While it does sound incredibly interesting, I just don't think my wallet would survive it at this time. Plus, I wouldn't trust Bunky not to jump my bones.  She's a horny one, that Bunky.

The last time I was in Vegas was 18 plus years ago, aproximately 8 months pregnant to get married to my ex-husband so I definately would love a Vegas redo. But like Nick Nick, I'm not sure that the Roche bank account can handle it. We will do our best, though, especially if the Johnsons and Reedys are able to join in. I would love to meet the Bunkster and she really needs to meet Bells in person and hear some stories straight from his lips in order to be able to truly appreciate his style. I don't think anyone can match his story telling abilities, especially if it involves crapping his pants or counting pennies.

It is the 17, 18, 19th. It is the weekend before the orginal date. Travis' wife is going on a cruise the weekend of the 24th and would like to go with us. This date won't change. Patrick has to commit to a date because of staffing issues in the pharmacy. JB has the same challenge in his pharmacy. Where are you guys going to stay? I get my rooms comp'd right off the strip, but I will stay somewhere else if you guys have a preference. Will Radmobile be making a Vegas appearance?

Whatever! My parents have a casino host, and I got the hook up from that. We usually stay at the Palace Station. It is a small casino off the strip. We have been staying there for years. I do love me some slot machines though! A little Bunky trivia: I actually got married in Vegas at the Monte Carlo eleven years ago this Saturday. No, I was not drunk. It was actually planned in advanced.

Fatty is planning to be in the US in October, but I think the Vegas-Baby trip is out of scope for us. BTW... I signed the contracts today.  Fatty is now whoring himself out to Morgan Stanley (Or as my wife says Morgan and Stanley).  Jack still works at The Rookies.

As an explanation to NickNick's "Uncle Jack" comment: The local paper recently did a profile article on yours truly and Rookies.  During the interview with the reporter I mentioned that I was my nephew's favorite uncle because of all the cool stuff in the store.  That turned into the article starting with "he's known to generations of collectors as Uncle Jack" and continued to be what appeared to me as the theme of the piece:  "blah blah blah Uncle Jack this", "Uncle Jack that" and picture of me "a.k.a. Uncle Jack" etc.  This is no exageration.  It was totally obnoxious and has made me the recepient of lots of "Uncle Jack" jokes from friends and customers (see above). But hey, its free promotion, so what can you do? What's even more annoying is that this started out as the paper doing a publicity article for Free Comic Book Day.  That article never appeared.

Swerb being the ONLY remarkable exception (and I mean that), any involvement I've ever had with reporters with myself or others, always seem to get some aspect of the story completely wrong.  This has been very dissapointing since I figure reporters who gather and record information for a living should get things right.  But, they don't.  Many times I have to remind myself that the information I am seeing is probably wrong. Don't get us started again on the current lack of Media's responsibility to unbiased TRUTH! Isn't that right Uncle Jack?  What a perv...   He is an accident waiting to happen.  Always around young kids all day long.  Kinda reminds me of the Different Strokes episode where Arnold and Dudley get molested in the bike shop.  You into that, Uncle Jack?  Bastard!

Fatty, you may have stumbled on to something.... I recently came across an old photo on here of Jack with his pants off that ran in the GR Press (?). He had a guitar straddling his crank and was surrounded by a Prince shrine. I think Swerb wrote the story. I thought it was a little out of character for Jack. But it is all starting to come together now...
