Better start buying a generator...

Wow - this story is interesting on multiple fronts. One - it shows how much information the government chooses not to share with us. Two - it may be just the story to challenge copy-cat criminals to follow suit. I am curious on when the mainsteam media will report on this....

Anyone heard anything on this new series on the History Channel?

What would happen to planet earth if the human race were to suddenly disappear forever? Would ecosystems thrive? What remnants of our industrialized world would survive? What would crumble fastest? From the ruins of ancient civilizations to present day cities devastated by natural disasters, history gives us clues to these questions and many more in the visually stunning and thought-provoking new special LIFE AFTER PEOPLE, premiering Monday, January 21st, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The History Channel.

The short clip I saw had them visiting Chernobyl 20 years later with no inhabitants.  Looks interesting.  I'll have to set my TIVO.

Is it a series?   I saw a billboard advertising it, and I did set my DVR to record it.  I just thought it was a single program.  Looks like I'll need to revise the scheduler.  Man, I love technology...

We saw an ad for that before Cloverfield -- it does look pretty cool!

Meanwhile, I'm still looking forward to watching my newly acquired PLANET EARTH on HD.  I know, I'm not usually one to BUY movies, but for this excellent series I made an exception.
