It does look to be a very interesting piece.  Even though I don't necessarily agree with everything he says, I still love watching and listening to him.  He actually knows what he's talking about.

I watched his 'The Decider ' on YouTube last night.  Very Funny.   Maher is one of my favorites.  I love him because those blustery, bullying, TV squack boxes cannot pull their baloney with him.  Maher will go one their shows with no problems.  Looking forward to this movie too!

I miss Politically Incorrect.  As NickNick said I didn't always agree with him, but I loved the discussions and his way of calling BULLSHIT on something.

I saw snippets of Religulous at the Toronto Film Festival, and it's pretty funny. He and Larry Charles talk to some real wackos...

The thing I love about Bill Maher is, he's the only outspoken atheist with his own TV show - or any type of social/cultural clout, outside of writers (who don't get near as much media exposure).

For those who still think Bill Maher is a "voice of reason", get a load of this:

As PZ Myers said, you've got to be nuts to make Bill Frist look good.

Maher was recently awarded a big atheist-of-the-year type award by a group run by Richard Dawkins.  It caused a bit of a rift between the atheist and skeptical communities, because those who are just straight up atheists (a boring lot, if you ask me) apparently thought it was fine that Maher is anti western medicine which essentially makes him anti-science, while the more science-minded skeptics were not happy about his receiving the award.  After watching this, I think anyone with a brain can see why.

He's still retarded!  And worse than ever!

I think this sums it up best:

If anyone still doubts that the 2009 recipient of the Richard Dawkins Award (Bill Maher) is anti-vaccine, pure and simple, to his very core the above statement should lay to rest any doubts. Vaccination is not a "risky medical procedure." It is among the safest medical procedures there is. Depending on the disease, it is also among the most effective. Arguably, no medical intervention ever envisioned by human beings has saved more lives at so low a cost and so low a risk as vaccination. His ignorance is just as toxic as any of those "toxins" he fears, particularly his ignorance that vaccination has undergone and continues to undergo long term cost-benefit analyses, safety monitoring, and study.
