Bionic Commando Returns!

Anyone remember Bionic Commando? This was probably my favorite game on the old NES system... Tallpat and I once stayed up all night to beat it when we were in middle school. So I'm very excited to hear that it's coming back!

It's interesting to me because Capcom's Lost Planet in many ways reminded me of their old Bionic Commando game - the main guy has a grappling hook which, while far less useful, clearly got its roots from the old classic.

I remember playing it. I never was able to defeat the last boss as I recall so I found it rather frustrating. Other than that I had a lot of fun with it back in the day.

I actually recently played it using MAME and found that it was fairly hard as well - I could play for about 15-20 mins before my game was over, which is decent, but as I've said before, old-school arcade games were often very hard and rely heavily on memorizing a lot of shit. I don't have the patience for that shit anymore.
