48 Laws of Power
Entered on: October 7, 2007 1:20 PM by Ross
Anyone read these before?  The book I'm reading right now advocated reading them to understand your management better.  Pretty evil shit, but a lot of it seems to ring true.  I'm sure the Bone in particular will find them interesting.

Yes, an interesting list, but I think they could have narrowed it down a lot.  Maybe down to 20 or so.  48 is too many- there are small differences in some, but I think many could be combined.

The Art of War was more impressive to me - I am sure most of us have read it - if not.... Do it!  It is surprisingly short for a book with its profound message.  There were a few books I read for a management class, one of them 'Managing With Power: Politics and Influence in Organizations' by Jeffery Pfeffer was one that stood out for me and was very interesting.

There was some system fornication and I could not put in the link for the book, but here it is:

Really Fatty?  You're forcing us to side scroll?  Don't you know about the link button?

Shit negro, I don't know what you're talking about - and chances are, neither do you.  I clicked "edit" on your fornicated message and the toolbar was very plainly there.  I'm willing to wager that it's some kind of Hungarian Flu that is afflicting your computer.

"Yes.... I am no Nick-Nick" - Why does everyone always gotta be a hater.

Dude, this page is making me dizzy with the side scroll.

Chalk it up to foriegn computer shite!  My work computer - the one I used to post, formats it properly by using multiple lines instead of one reallllllllly long one.  But, at home - I see what you MoFo's see.

There was a similar issue a while ago whilst I was posting that gay bearded guy.  I used my work computer to post, and it fornicated it for all other computers except when I used the work computer to view the page.

Ross, I will send you some screen shots to show you I indeed know what I am talking about!

If we're taking a poll, I don't get the sidescroll thing at work or at home.

Well, it's partly my fault for not making the site Fatty-proof.  I should have shortened the text onscreen if it's one giant line.

But I can vouch for Fatty, I saw the screenshot - he does have it broken up on his end. I  also edited his link to save us all from going insane.
