Halo 4?
Entered on: September 23, 2007 12:14 PM by Ross

Halo 3 is so 5 minutes ago... I'm ready for Halo 4 and beyond!

Best line "corpse humping results in record cross-fire casualties."

Seriously, though - are you guys going to do a midnight sale and start playing that night?  I'd love to get in on some co-op action but I'm afraid I'm going to be a bit pedestrian and get the game on Tuesday morning.

I do believe Edge and Zilla are in for the midnight pick up.  They have been kind enough to point out on several occassions that they will have their copies 3 hours before me...... I am sure Radmobile will join in on the fun in between having "times".

From: Ross Entered on: September 23, 2007 1:34 PM
What, Rad has to schedule in gaming around all the "times" he's having?

From: Radmobile Entered on: September 24, 2007 12:14 AM
One has to have priorities.  I've been given the go ahead for Halo Tuesday though.  I don't think I'll be partaking in the midnight pickup.  I too shall roll pedestrian style.

From: NickNick Entered on: September 24, 2007 8:02 AM
Yeah, Rad actually chose "times" over his cousin this weekend.  I was deeply offended.  I mean, I have breasts too.  Albeit hairy ones.

From: Radmobile Entered on: September 24, 2007 8:47 AM
It was a strange choice I realise. Although to be fair I had plans with Annie first. As for Halo3, I had plans with it for years so times will come second to that.

From: Bunky Entered on: September 24, 2007 10:16 AM
Having times has improved Rad's gaming skills. I think we should all be afraid of what he is going to bring to Halo 3!!!

From: NickNick Entered on: September 24, 2007 11:51 AM
Rad will be Awesome for a game or two and then he will grow bored with it. You'll be able to tell that he's bored when he doesn't blow your face off as you turn the corner and also when he starts dancing in the middle of the level firing at nothing in the air.

From: Radmobile Entered on: September 24, 2007 12:07 PM
Ah yes....the old I'm bored flare gun maneuver. I'm excited that our games will automatically be saved to watch from all angles, in case of a Mrs. Brisby humping fiasco. The a-holery will know no bounds.

From: NickNick Entered on: September 24, 2007 12:46 PM
Damn the Brisby name.  Even if I pick something sweet like Thor, or Urassizmine (your ass is mine for those of you who thought I was talking about another name like Fenris or Mjollnir), all I will be able to hear "Mrs. Brisby, Timmy needs his medicine!!"

From: Radmobile Entered on: September 24, 2007 1:51 PM
Dude, that was priceless when you were trying to explain what/who Jormungandr was to Jack's neices. They just had this blank stare, and then Jack kindly informed you "Um dude, they think you're a dork." I knew exactly what you were talking about but I didn't want to share your fate.

From: Bunky Entered on: September 24, 2007 3:39 PM
I am glad you CAN"T watch Gears from all angles..... I would be having nightmares!!! I am a little nervous about the a-holery on Halo 3. Edge and Zilla will have a 3 hour warm up session before I get my copy.  I may become the victim of some "unfortunate times."

From: Jackzilla Entered on: September 24, 2007 4:14 PM
Don't worry, Bunky.  You're first Halo 3 outing with us may end up looking like some group hate-crime scene, but it's all good.

What Bunky is referencing is a female player we recently came across on Live that took exception to our "diddling" in Gears.  Turns out she had worked with rape victims before and found nothing funny about it.  Never mind that this is the same game in which, among other things, you can chainsaw your opponent.   She was offended by the diddling.  And was dead serious too.  I can't wait to play her again.  And give her the full treatment!

Back on topic, I wonder what kind of diddling there will be in Halo 3?

Bert - Yes, I'm going full daff and picking up Halo 3 at midnight at Meijer (it is only 1 minute away after all).  And it looks like I'll be joined by Tomcat, JohnnyBells and Natron (and probably Radmobile and EDGE online).  You're going to miss out?  Come on!  This is was maternity leave is all about, baby!

From: Bunky Entered on: September 24, 2007 5:22 PM
Zilla, you forgot to mention that she was an 11th grade English teacher that also had a grammar issue with the term "diddle". I am guessing that she wouldn't approve of Bells putting his butt in the air either... I believe the quote was "So basically this term is just a euphemism for the word rape. But let's not call it what it is because that sounds to violent..." Of course, this was after she just stuck a shotgun to my chest, but I guess that is perfectly acceptable as long as you don't diddle. The inner species diddle factor makes the game too violent. I believe the potential diddle factor is the reason for the M rating ... I bet a visit from the Bone would brighten her outlook on life. That would be a euphemism for introducing the Charlie Browns to the Peppermint Patty.....

Bunky said:

My response would be something along the lines of:  "Umm, no, it's necrophilia, thankyouverymuch - you can't rape a dead person.  But after I buzz your torso in half, could you try to make sure to fall down with your butt up in the air?  I don't have time to reposition your corpse."

I must admit, I enjoyed the midnite brand last night.  Well, not staying up that late, but the game was fun.  I'm looking forward to some co-op tonight.  I've been given a reprieve from times for the evening so we should be good to go.  I went to bed around 2.  What about you Zills?  Did you stay up late enough to join the west coast diddlers?

From: Jackzilla Entered on: September 25, 2007 10:15 AM

Tom and I went to co-op and played til almost 4.  Sorry Bunky, I saw your message but was determined to get to a save point and call it a night!  The co-op is super sweet too by the way!

I'll be on tonight with Tomcat and Lilgirl!  I really want to do the co-op but I know there's going to be too many of us!  What's a Zilla to do!?

Rad - You have a "reprieve" from times for Halo 3?  Uh-oh, that sounds like Bells when he had an opportunity for a nooner but went with the ruben!

From: NickNick Entered on: September 25, 2007 10:28 AM
I envy all of you.  I, with my outdated fossil of a game system, am extremely jealous of all of you that get to play Halo 3.  Go ahead, gather your experience so that when I, a halo 3 virgin, come in and kick your ass, the victory will be all the sweeter.

From: Radmobile Entered on: September 25, 2007 11:48 AM

Well, I say reprieve, but really she is in class unitl 9:00 and has to be up early tomorrow.  On an unrelated note, I'll probably be taking a 30 to 45 minute break from Halo a little after 9 tonight.  I guess I'll have to do a little campaign while I wait for Jack to get out of work this evening.

From: Radmobile Entered on: September 25, 2007 12:21 PM

Another thing of note that I found today. http://www.bungie.net/stats/default.aspx

Just type in your gamertag and see your Barbying results, and your service record.  Kinda neat I thought.

That is really sweet!  Too bad it just confirms what I've long suspected: I'm just not very good.

From: Bunky Entered on: September 25, 2007 9:10 PM
That's okay Zilla. Ross joined us in campaign today and we quit at level 9, the final level, and engaged in some matchmaking....

From: Ross Entered on: September 25, 2007 9:17 PM
But you know what, I can't get back to level 9, I'm stuck back at level 2 when I play solo!  This sucks!!!!

From: NickNick Entered on: September 26, 2007 3:28 PM
All right.  Who's gonna invite me over to play Halo 3 with them first???  Josh?  Jack?  Can't really go and play with Bunky or Ross since the drive would be a little long.  Maybe I can hold out until a weekend gaming session.  I'll try, but it's so cold out here without a 360.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: September 26, 2007 3:48 PM
NickNick - Can't talk now... I got Halo 3 to play!

From: Ross Entered on: September 26, 2007 7:07 PM

The bungie site really makes the game even cooler.  I took a video using the in-game theater option, of me using a hammer on Bunky's mongoose and it went flipping away - and uploaded it to their site - you can download it to your own xbox to view it:

http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx?gamertag=Ramshackleton

What's sweet about watching the videos is that they're not videos per-se, they're re-renderings of the game, so you can pan and zoom, and see shit from other players' perspectives.  So you can watch Bunky go flipping end-over-end from her own angle.

Nick Nick -Maybe if you promise to watch Bionic Woman to get the ratings up, Zilla will let you play one of his 360's.

From: NickNick Entered on: September 27, 2007 8:49 AM
The sad thing is, I watched Bionic Woman last night..... and it was pure crap.  I've seen better acting in porn films.

From: Radmobile Entered on: September 27, 2007 10:37 AM

Yes!  I knew it would suck.  Hopefully the world will agree with Nicks views on this.  And if Nick, if you promise to never watch it again I will play Halo 3 with you sometime in the near future.  I'll probably play Halo 3 with you either way but you really shouldn't watch such garbage. Wink

I need someone to play through campaign mode with me.  Solo is fun I guess, but co-op campaign is what I was most excited about and I've not yet done it.

From: Bunky Entered on: September 27, 2007 10:39 AM
Rad- play co-op with Ross. We wouldn't have beat the game if it weren't for Ross' mad driving skills....

From: Radmobile Entered on: September 27, 2007 10:45 AM
I probably won't have much opportunity to play again until Saturday morning, except in small doses. I liked reading this review of the show on IMDB. "The pilot of the new Bionic Woman feels like it was made in 1997, i.e. it's not too old but nor does it feel new either. It brings nothing fresh to the table, and feels like it's trying to imitate other shows but not very well. The influences of Dark Angel and Alias are clearly felt in the pilot, but both of those had compelling lead characters in involving situations. Bionic Woman has neither. The lead actress just isn't involving, and her character goes from being hysterical about her situation to confident within about ten minutes. To play the 'tough but vulnerable' card has been done before, and so much better elsewhere. Story-wise it's very much the same. What is new, or exciting? Nothing. Shady organisations, seen it all before. Her special powers? Well, she can run fast. How about something a little more 21st century? Katie Sackhoff played a quite interesting character in the pilot, but is largely lifted from Battlestar Galactica. Sadly her character is more interesting than the lead, so outshines her on her own show. But really, I don't feel the pilot had anything new or interesting to offer. I also didn't feel the pilot gave a lot of scope of what's to come. Maybe I'll be proved wrong, but I doubt I'll tune in to find out, and I doubt this show will last."

From: Jackzilla Entered on: September 27, 2007 11:00 AM

The pilot was by no means perfect, but I think it shows potential for the series.  It was certainly more interesting to me than the last half-season of Smallville.  But It's still too early to judge.  I like how everyone gives Heroes the benefit of the doubt and a chance to set things up when its first show is boring, but one-show of Bionic Woman and it's time to give it up?

My view of Katie (Starbuck) mirrors that review -- I like her and told Angie that SHE should be the lead.  By the way, notice how the ugly, annoying sister from the original circulating pilot was replaced by a little hottie?

I'm in for week 2!

From: NickNick Entered on: September 27, 2007 11:23 AM
It truly wasn't the show that I had problem with. It was the horiffic acting. How that woman got a lead in a show is beyond me.

From: Bunky Entered on: September 27, 2007 1:39 PM
Sorry Zilla, I tried to watch the show as well and all I have to say is I am glad Radmobile is working in Halo 3 around his "times" schedule because we are all going to miss you when you are gone...... Maybe you can let Nick Nick play your XBOX 360 while you serving your sentence... I tried to watch it to help boost ratings for your cause.

Have you guys seen the Hayabusa (samurai) armor when playing online?  Apparently it's the rarest and hardest to unlock of the armor types - you apparently have to find a buttload of skulls (I haven't found any yet).  I came across a guy in the armor today - I was playing a ranked team slayer match and it was a 4 on 4 shotty/snipers (which I hate) and my 3 teammates dropped out which made it 4 on 1.  They started f'ing me at first but eventually I made a good account of myself and made more kills than any of them, which is harder than it sounds since they were travelling in a 4-man pack almost the whole time.

Anyway, here's a pic of me after I shotgunned the mofo off his sniper perch:

Oh great - for some reason I feel if a Bunky visit was at the same time as a Fatty visit, well, Jack would be saying "Sorry Fatz, all our seats at ZAGNUT VIP are filled.  Well, you know, Bunky.  She is a PLAYER, and she DID come all the way from California.  Maybe you can go upstairs and play with the Wii.   We will call you when we want you to do an Arby's run."

F the BUNK!

Thats right..... I went there.

If we do end up at Zills together.... I call the bottom bunk.  (Which I believe is what they are calling you after a poor game!)  You can climb your ass all the way top to the top.  If you hear me crying at night........ Well, I'm not.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: September 30, 2007 8:22 AM

HA HA HA!!!  I'd love to sit in on a conversation between Bunky and Fatty!

We had great fun system-linking it last night in the ZAGNUT!  Haven't done that with Halo in awhile.  Bells played for about an hour -- Which seems about as much as he can muster anymore (before he went upstairs to finish off the pizza which he didn't chip in for because he "wasn't hungry" and headed home).  Once we got down to 4 of us we did system-link co-op (which is F'in sweet) and finished the game on Heroic.  With 3 buddies it makes it almost easy.

By the way, I have a sweet 10 second clip of me giving a third world beatdown to Bells (I hit him so hard he went flying up onto the roof of a building).  The new Theater mode in Halo 3 is awesome for reviewing moments like this.  From every possible angle.  With friends.  Rad & I were laughing our asses off at 3 AM to this 10 sec clip.  If anyone wants to see it, just ask (Ramshackleton, I sent ya a copy).

Fatty - Got your 360 yet?  I confirmed that they have Live in Hungary!

Bone - Got your 360 yet?  Bunky wants to give you the full treatment!

Swerb & Creeko - You guys out there anymore?

I should have let the clip run longer.  What you don't see is my guy standing still for a moment (as John and I are laughing too hard to play).  Then he goes up on the roof to check out John's corpse and can't help but slap it around a bit for good measure.

I don't understand why Bells doesn't play more.  It's so much FUN!

I've seen the Hyabusa once this morning.  It's amazing people have done enough to unlock that already.  I was excited to get my EVA bubble face helmet for finishing campaign on Normal or better.  I'm loving the Barbie style.

From: Bunky Entered on: September 30, 2007 12:26 PM

Fatty your seat is safe, I won't be in Michigan anytime soon. I am in Vegas for Thanksgiving and in Hawaii a couple of weeks later.... And no, I am not going to Hawaii to hunt down the Bone, it's just our annual trip to the islands....

I'm glad Bells got to be the "bottom bunk" last night instead of me. I wouldn't have known that without reading this since Zilla ignored all of us outside of Zagnut!

I'm with Rad, I love the Barbie factor. Fatty won't be able to miss my sweet Barbie pink Spartan! I should be well accesorized by the time he arrives.

It was a lot of fun playing on Saturday.  I basically sat at thefrint door with keys in hand until Megan got home, then I kissed her as I ran out the door.

Even though we only got to play campaign, it was still a lot of fun.  One thing I have to say to that: Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to put a bunch of swords in a level with a million little retarded running all over the place.  It's real effective, let me tell you.

Can't wait to play multiplayer against some people though.  Hopefully Zilla will have the patience for me to properly Barbie up Mrs. Brisby.

Nick Nick - It will be sweet if you play live with us sometime.

From: Radmobile Entered on: October 1, 2007 1:33 PM
He'll have to do so at my house. Jack's connection speed is dubious at best where Halo is concerned. Remember NickNick, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are ideal for that sort of thing. Also, it'd be cool to get a gang together for co-op Legendary. I'm a sucker for more Barbie-ing options.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: October 1, 2007 9:27 PM

"Dubious at best" is right.  Occasionally I can get a decent game of Halo 3 in, but usually online I suffer with at least a little lag in a game (at best) and REALLY bad, unplayable lag (at worst).  It's super annoying because the game will be going on (I can even hear players talking and having fun) and I'm sitting looking at a black screen with player scores, or the in-game players are doing weird shit out of sync and I'm shooting someone that isn't there, or I'm just dying out of the blue.  And then I get to hear a 12-year-old gloat over his sweetness.

I don't know what to do.  Until my bandwidth situation improves (which may take til next year when Comcast decides to upgrade the system after recently buying out Lowell Cable) I may have to go back to Gears of War -- which plays just fine multi-player online.

It's a shame, cuz when it works I really like Halo 3!

I thought we needed a good Halo 3 screenshot again.  This is me running over Princess.  His guy made quite the loud grunting noise as he died too.  As a side note, I like the Prince paint scheme on my armor when Jack and I are Team Purple.

From: Ross Entered on: October 17, 2007 9:34 AM

Where's the shot, Rad?  I don't see it.

Anyway, I am overwhelmed by the sheer number of sweet games coming out this season.  We've already had two of the best: Halo 3 and The Orange Box, and Bioshock was only a couple of months ago for that matter.  But there's so much more coming:

  • Call of Duty 4: I predict this could take over Halo 3 in terms of what many of us play online on a regular basis.  I just downloaded the single player demo for the PC last night, and it's off the hook sweet!  I've already talked about my feelings on the multiplayer beta.
  • Assassin's Creed: if you've seen previews for this, you know it's going to be sweet.
  • Mass Effect: from the makers of KOTOR, this time using their own intellectual property instead of Star Wars.  The character models are probably the best ever in a game.
  • A whole bunch of other games that I don't know much about but have played previous ones in the franchise or other efforts by the same dev group: FEAR Files, Soldier of Fortune: Payback, Timeshift, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, and Clive Barker's Jericho.
I don't know how I'm going to have time for work or family with all this gaming goodness coming my way!

From: Radmobile Entered on: November 20, 2007 9:21 AM
How about : Shark Sandwich, The Rolling Stones II: Secret of the Ooze, Jack & the Rippers, Jackament Zilladellic, to name a few.

From: Bunky Entered on: November 20, 2007 9:40 AM
I am partial to Jackophony, however my second choice would be Johny's Giant Crank Trick.... I wouldn't use "Revolution" in your name. I am sure Prince will be scanning the Rock Band name's next looking for some more people to sue when he is bored with going after his fans!

From: NickNick Entered on: November 20, 2007 9:52 AM

How about these?

- Jack in her Box
- Jack's Son Brown Eye
- The Zilla Didlers
- Jack and the "Times"
- Jack B. Nimble
- Jack and the Zagnut Twista's
- The Sound of One Jack Clapping.

Scared myself for a little bit.  They were all coming out sexual.  You can tell where my mind is.

Nick, just ask your wife nicely to give it up. I think it will really help you out....

From: Ross Entered on: November 20, 2007 11:01 AM
Jack and the Times is pretty friggin' funny IMO...

From: NickNick Entered on: November 20, 2007 12:12 PM

We needn't worry about Nicknick's sexual exploits.

Jack, can I be a groupie for your band?  Or better yet, do they have a Triangle controller or maybe a cowbell controller that I could use??

From: Creeko Entered on: November 20, 2007 12:15 PM
How about Skippy Fandango. That'll pretty much guarantee tons of hot chick roadies.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: November 20, 2007 1:07 PM
These are some sweet suggestions!  Where's Swerb?  I know he'd have a good skull-F'in, baby-eatin' band name for me!

From: BigFatty Entered on: November 20, 2007 3:20 PM

There are some good names - Jack and the 'Times' is pretty good.

Can't say these will be any better....

  • Rancid Ketchup (Well, had to be timely - plus it is hardcore!)
  • Partially Retarted
  • Fudge Monkeys
  • ThrillaZilla or ZillaThrilla
  • MONKEY!
  • Zanna DO DO DO
  • Jack and the Def Tones
  • Queef Quenchers
  • The Artist Currently Known As Jack

Ok, I do like that last one :)

From: Jackzilla Entered on: November 20, 2007 4:47 PM
Pretty good, Fats!  But as you should know I'm saving Fudge Monkey's for the name of my candy store!  Rancid Ketchup!  I like that one too.

Some Halo news. The new map-pack supposedly comes out today. 800pts for 3 maps. Otherwise they'll be free in the spring. I haven't decided if I'll be getting them yet. Although if the whole gang does I guess I'll be required. Jack, I presume you're already on it. Let us know the verdict.

From: Ross Entered on: December 11, 2007 11:44 AM
Yeah, I'm in if everyone wants to organize some matches.  I actually am taking off the last week of December and the first week of January, so I'll be doing lots of gaming around then.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: December 11, 2007 12:34 PM

D'uh!  I'm in!

Don't let the current monopolization of my limited playing time by ROCK BAND (250K fans and counting) and THE ORANGE BOX (into Episode One) fool you... I'll be back to HALO 3 and GEARS eventually!  Look for me later tonight (after 10 probably) playing the new maps...

More maps on April 15, if you're into that sort of thing.

And sorry I'm apparently retarted and can't post a link.

Shit ninja!  I can add a link within your reply!  What's you people's malfunctions?

Sweet!  New maps!  But boo!  The "Purple Reign" map has been delayed!  I bet that skinny motherfucker with the high voice has something to do with it!  Wink

From: Radmobile Entered on: March 19, 2008 8:56 AM

Anyway, if you liked "Sidewinder" from Halo 1 then one of these new maps should be fun.  They aren't really out for another month but you can never have too many maps in my book.

I can't help but wonder though if they "aren't ready" to release these other 2 maps for the sole purpose of releaseing them later for more money.  Ah who am I kidding I'm not wondering at all if that's the reason.  It's a certainty.

CHILL OUT!  I WANT "CHILL OUT" FROM HALO 1!

From: Bunky Entered on: March 27, 2008 3:18 PM

Ross, Bells has been filling in the Funky Rhubarb seat in ZAGNUT on Halo 3 this week. You should join us!

From: Jackzilla Entered on: March 28, 2008 12:22 PM

Bells and I have had a riot on Halo 3 the past few days.  The other day these jerk-offs were calling us "noobs" the whole game so when we did kill them they received some special treatment.  At one point Bells couldn't contain himself after a kill and the humping went on for a couple minutes:  "Ooooh YEAH!  OH GOD!  Oooh you have such a tight little hole!  OH!  OH!  I've got his legs spread wide open!"  etc etc.  Good times!

The new Halo 3 maps hit in a couple weeks - 3 total - one is brand new and the other two are based on "Lock Out" (a fav from Halo 2) and "Sidewinder" (The big ice level from Halo 1).

From: Bunky Entered on: March 28, 2008 1:32 PM

Will Bells be making a ZAGNUT appearance this evening? I believe Bells was hitting it so hard "Noob" style yesterday, that it caused my Halo 3 disc to crack. I will be making a GameStop run this afternoon...

It has been alot of fun with Bells' Brand in the Funky Rhubarb rotation. He's seem to be having a good with it as well....Maybe Rad and Ramshakleton will come out and play. We may even be able to get Edge to make another guest apperance!

The "old" new maps are free today, so that should increase the A-holery on DLC.

From: Ross Entered on: March 28, 2008 1:45 PM

Damn, I know you guys were pinging me to play but you know what they say when you're Rockin' with the wife (in Rock Band).  I do have a hankering for some Halo 3 times, though.

But I also just rented Rainbow Six 2 so you'll probably be interrupting me in that next time you want to play, but that's okay.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: March 28, 2008 1:48 PM

Bert - Do you have the whole Rock Band setup?  Drums and all?

Bungie spreads the love with discounts and free downloads on 7/7.

In keeping with its tradition of offering free goodies to fans on July 7, Bungie is planning to release a bundle of Halo 3 freebies on Monday, including a new downloadable multiplayer map.

Cold Storage is a new take on the multiplayer map Chill Out from Halo: Combat Evolved. Once a functional research facility on Installation 05, a contamination outbreak has left it abandoned and empty…mostly.

Along with Cold Storage, Halo 3 fans will be able to download new gamer pics and a Bungie Day Xbox 360 dashboard theme for free. The Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack will also drop to 600 MS points. Be sure to download the theme and gamer pics on 7/7, because they will only be up for one day.

SWEET!  "CHILL OUT" was my favorite map from Halo 1!

From: Radmobile Entered on: July 7, 2008 9:35 AM

Damn it!  Zilla knew this was the only way to get back on Halo again.  Well played sir, well played.

Sadly my 360 is not long for this world I fear.  I have been getting an "unplayable disc" error occasionally.  I can usually work around it by turning it on its side, but eventually I'll have to send it back in, and until then it can be a pain to get a game to load.

From: NickNick Entered on: July 7, 2008 9:41 AM

I keep telling you, Rad.  Keep watching that donkey porn on your 360 and you're going to burn it out.

From: RobotSpider Entered on: July 7, 2008 9:56 AM

Has anyone played around with video capturing from the 360?  I'd love to grab some Halo3 footage and put together a highlight reel.  I'm thinking of calling the series "Spartan Tea-Party".  I guess capturing it isn't the hard part, the hard part is capturing it with decent resolution.  I know there are a few HDMI capture cards out there, but am hoping I don't have to spend $$$ to do it.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: July 7, 2008 10:06 AM

Rad - 360 troubles again?  Good grief for your Charlie Browns!  EDGE and BELLS are both in Red-Ring-of-Death land again.  Bells went out a couple weeks ago and he hasn't even called 1-800-MY-F'D-XBOX yet!  Any bets on whether he gets it fixed by Labor Day?

From: Radmobile Entered on: July 7, 2008 10:25 AM

Yup, I'm currently on my 3rd, but before long it'll probably be my 4th machine.  One red ring, one disc drive failure, and now a slightly different yet seemingly more common disc drive failure.

with all the talk of LOLcats it reminds me of HALOLZ where I found this gem:

OWNED

From: Ross Entered on: July 7, 2008 11:10 AM

Awesome.

From: Bunky Entered on: July 7, 2008 11:15 AM

Robot, it is funny that you ask that. We can discuss that when Jack is not online....

From: NickNick Entered on: July 7, 2008 12:15 PM

See.  You escape all these problems by not purchasing these "top-of-the-line" gaming systems.  I don't have any problems with my Connect 4 crashing.  I don't think my deck of playing cards have ever given me an error.  And I know for a fact that when I'm playing with my penis, I never have a problem with lag time.

That's not what Megan says!

HA HA HA! You can't afford any lag time living in a basement! Someone could walk in at any minute!

Ouch.

I need some blogging sensitivity training! I am not even going to try and explain it. It will only make it worse.

From: NickNick Entered on: July 7, 2008 3:48 PM

No.  That was a perfectly acceptable post.  I took that into consideration when typing up the last post.  I like to think of it as an acceptable amount of collateral damage.

Oh and Bunky.  With the Pink Ears on, does one need to lift your tail and sniff to find out if your in the mood?

From: Ross Entered on: September 30, 2008 6:31 PM

Possible good news on the red ring of death.

Hey Bert!

Rock Band Nabs Pearl Jam

Harmonix and MTV games plan to release Pearl Jam's breakthrough album Ten for Rock Band on March 24 to coincide with the record's re-release.

In other news:

Rad & I just got the NO DOUBT singles album among other goodies.  Rock Band tracks are addicting!  I love how it took a videogame company to show the Record Business goons how to make money with music!

Also, there's a new MAP PACK for GEARS 2 out TODAY!  See ya on Live tonight!
