Keith Olberman Calls for Bush's Resignation
Entered on: July 4, 2007 1:16 PM by Ross

Wow.  This is one of the most powerful and awesome speeches I've ever heard.  Olberman sums up every thinking American's disgust with the Bush administration, brought to a head by the most recent blatant disregard for the law by commuting Scooter Libby's sentence.  Every word rings true and packs a punch.  It's long, but it's worth watching the whole thing.

Multiple times.

The worst thing about this, is that the american people had ample opportunity to avoid putting this ass in office for a second term. I mean, the candidate the dems put forth wasn't special. But at least he didn't have a record of lying and falsifying reports to get what he wanted.

That's a sweet commentary, Bert.  Excuse my ignorance, but who is this guy?  Is he a regular on MSNBC?  They didn't air this on regular NBC News, did they?  That would be sweet.

He used to be on ESPN a long time ago.... I think.

Yeah, he was on ESPN, and now he's MSNBC's answer to Bill O'Reilly.  And he is a sweet answer, indeed.

This is a sweet video of Michael Moore on CNN recently, sticking his foot in Wolf Blitzer's ass over their report on his new movie "Sicko".  I haven't seen it yet but I'm looking forward to it.  I've always felt so-so about Moore, thought that he was more interested in melodrama than making a straightforward documentary.  But so far the buzz is that Sicko is really worth watching.  And so is this clip:

Oh, then go see it. It'll makes splashing some water a compound fracture seem like a good deal.

I miss Politically Incorrect.  Does Bill still have the HBO series he started after leaving ABC?

From: Ross Entered on: July 14, 2007 9:11 AM
Yeah, he still has the show but since I don't get HBO I rarely watch it, even though it's pretty good.  But it can be "obtained" in other ways if you're crafty...
