Pretty sweet.  But as if I needed a reason to watch Heroes.  That show is off the hook sweet!  The latest episode was fargin awesome and the next one looks to be just as good with Peter the new badass facing off against Sylar the old badass!  I can't wait!

From: Jackzilla Entered on: February 28, 2007 10:17 PM
Tis true: Heroes gets full thumbs from me too!  We also love us some BSG, Rome and (yes, I'm still watching) Lost.  'Fraid I'm two episodes behind on Smallville though... it's just "ok" this season for me.

From: The Bone Entered on: March 1, 2007 12:59 AM
I'm out of the loop on regular TV. I have barely even heard of Heroes. I've seen a little BSG and am interested in getting all the episodes. However, I love Rome. HBO has their shit together between my favorites in order: Rome, Entourage, Deadwood, and Sopranos.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: March 1, 2007 7:55 AM
Amen on HBO, brother!  I can't imagine those 4 shows being much better.  We're really going to miss Rome.  Did you know there's only 4 episodes left then its done?  I was loving the last episode: Nothing like doing a little killing and still fitting in a picnic with friends and family (and peaches!).

From: Ross Entered on: March 1, 2007 9:47 AM

I totally agree about Rome.  It's great, though Deadwood was way better and HBO dropped the ball by letting it go, so they are no longer golden in my book.

Frankly, though, almost all TV this season seems a bit lackluster compared to previous years: Lost, BSG, 24, Smallville... really, the saving grace in TV land for me is Heroes, which just keeps getting better.  I highly recommend it.

I am catching up on BSG and Rome - two of my faves - of course I am anxiously awaiting Entourage and Sopranos. Heroes - Shit negro - We are hooked.  We downloaded last season and watched it over a weekend.  Now we hate having to wait a frickin week til the next show!  Ross, you were dead on about the last episode!  I think it was the best one yet!

Speaking of Spider-Man, has anyone heard about this new animated series? I personally am starting to think that most Spider-Man fans are idiots as it seems that the MTV series is not well-liked... and this new series is a Saturday morning style show, focusing on Peter as a high school kid - so it sounds like it won't be ask dark and edgy as the MTV show, which was what made it great - Spidey at his full power.  This will undoubtedly be watered-down, bloodless, Nancy-boy Spider-Man.  Ptooie.

Well, I don't have long to type... I have to go clean up after having shit myself watching the extended footage from NBC.com.  At first I thought it was going to be a bunch of Aunt May prattling about marriage to MJ, but then it turned out to be one of the sweetest action sequences of all time, and not just some little glimpse, either!  We're talking about what appears to be an entire fight scene between Harry and Peter, and it is fucking sweet.  You must go there and watch it while you still can, for the next 24 hours or so!  Drop what you're doing and GO!

From: Ross Entered on: March 6, 2007 10:43 AM
Has no one watched this yet?  Only about 12 hours left!  Damn you people, watch it now!

From: Swerb Entered on: March 6, 2007 11:03 AM
I tried to watch it last night, but the fucker loaded for 20 minutes before I gave up...

From: Ross Entered on: March 6, 2007 11:38 AM
It's loading much faster today.  If you still can't get it, and if you have BitTorrent, you can use this link to download it.

From: Ross Entered on: March 7, 2007 11:17 AM
Actually Yahoo Movies still has the extended clip available, for those (apparently all of you) who haven't seen it yet.

From: Crockett Entered on: March 7, 2007 2:55 PM

I actually took a look at it the other night and it is SWEEEET! They could of shown us a little less of Aunt May though.

Less than two months and counting until it opens. Wonder if I can tickets for iMax yet?

The one before this one isn't anymore, but this latest one is for me.  I deleted the other one.  In case you didn't see it, it was a pic of Venom fighting Spidey.  Probably didn't want to see it anyway. :)

I saw the preview when I went to see 300. You know how I'm blasphemously ho hum about the series. Well imagine my dismay when I saw that turdburgler Topher Grace in it. Well at least it's one turd vs another.

Bone - You're nuckin' futz.

From: Ross Entered on: March 17, 2007 8:30 AM

Not only did Bone fall off the Bad Taste tree and hit every branch on the way down, he apparently hopped on the short bus, took a ride to the crazy tree, and is now scaling it with the intention of taking a header off of it as well.

Topher Grace is a fucking comedic genius, man!  This movie is going to be fucking sweet, of that there can be little doubt.

From: Crockett Entered on: March 17, 2007 9:27 AM
Bone rides the cheese bus and is a window licker?

From: Ross Entered on: March 17, 2007 2:05 PM

New Spider-Man footage!

From: Jackzilla Entered on: March 17, 2007 2:38 PM
Maybe that one's more the Bone's style.

From: The Bone Entered on: March 17, 2007 5:34 PM

I like Topher Grace as an actor for certain roles. He plays a great wimpy yet funny turd in That 70s Show. However, as Eddie Brock he lacks the bullheaded manliness of the comics version.

Now the other fucker that plays Spider-Man really sucks. I guess it's because I'm more drawn to heroes like King Lionidas in 300. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure the ancient Spartans would have tossed you out as a baby.

Crockett, what the fuck does that mean?

Man I don't know but looking at it again, that's pretty funny. Are the windows made of cheese too?

From: Ross Entered on: March 18, 2007 12:14 PM
Seriously, I can't make heads or tails of that fucking comment.  It's haunting me with its sheer nonsense quotient.  Crockett, you got some splainin' to do!

From: The Bone Entered on: March 18, 2007 4:31 PM
What's really interesting is the question mark at the end. As if he's asking if I ride the cheesebus and lick windows.

From: Ross Entered on: March 18, 2007 4:53 PM

But from where does such imagery come?  I fail to see what led him to such madness.  Am I missing the cheese and window references elsewhere in this thread of conversation?  What gives?  It's all-consuming! I MUST KNOW!

I'm not ruling out mild retardation.  I mean, sorry Crockett, but I don't know you.  All I know is that you're one of Jack's customers, and speaking as a comic book fan, I know they run the gamut.  He didn't explicitly vouch for your ability to hold your shit together, so I'm not abandoning the possibility that this is indicative of a larger problem, or even some kind of psychotic break.

Crockett's not hitchhiking anymore.... HE'S RIDING!

From: BigFatty Entered on: March 18, 2007 6:10 PM

I found Crockett's comment funny, but was not sure what it meant.  I thought it was funny based on sheer silliness. Usually cheese is a good object in comedy.  Maybe in this instance, the type of cheese bus is important.  Is the cheese bus a Limburger Cheese, an exotic and robust Roquefort, or a simple Cheddar Bus?  Licking the windows seems to be key to the joke.  Maybe, Bone is licking the Cheese Bus windows because you can't see through cheese.  Bone's licking the windows is a valliant effort to clean them.  So in essence, Crockett is saying that Bone does not know where he is going, on said bus, with such an absurd comment.  Very creative, indeed!

Or, it could go back to the buses being orangish-yellow in color, or cheese color.  I bet in Crockett's world, only the special needs kids ever rode the bus.  Thus, they could be seen licking the windows going by.  His 'Cheese Bus' is what most people would call the Short Bus.

I think this is the case now.  I'll give him a B- for originality, B for creativity, and a D for clarity.  It is much funnier if you use the more common Short Bus instead of Cheese Bus.

Our commentary and disection of his comment has stomped out any hope of funniness or redemption.

Enjoy, Crockett!

From: Ross Entered on: March 18, 2007 8:17 PM

Okay, Fatty gave me enough inspiration to solve the mystery.  I naturally assumed Crockett was off his rocker, but it turns out that we may be the window lickers, since we didn't know what it meant, or what cheese bus meant either (though there's nothing in that definition that says it's explicitly the short bus).  Apparently Crockett spends his days poring through the Urban Dictionary.  So Crockett isn't crazy, but he still gets a D for clarity, since you certainly couldn't expect any of us to automatically know what these terms meant (since none of us did, nor did Roche when I read it to his non-internet-having-ass).

A link would have been nice, Crockett!

From: Crockett Entered on: March 18, 2007 9:32 PM

Is it terrible that social workers know all the bad labels for people, too?

Yes, Cheese Bus is the same as the Short Bus. It is what the kids out east call that short yellow mode of transportation that carries the special needs kids.

Also out east, the kids riding said transportation are also referred to as 'window lickers' for a purported tendency to clean the windows with their tongues. Terrible? Yes. Absurd? Yes. Inappropriate chuckle producing? Oh, yeah.

So when Ross asked if Bone was writing the short bus, I, not knowing as much about him as the others, asked if he "rode the cheese bus and was a window licker, too?"

Sorry for the lack of clarity and the belief that these terms were in the common vernacular. (#*@$%%* stoopid white boys)

Ahhh the genius of Fatty shines through again!!!  Great investigation skills Ross, to back up my theory!  We are definately riding in the front of the Mystery Machine!  (Now thats how you do it Crockett!!!!)   Crockett can stay in the back eating Scooby Snacks with Shaggy.

All in all I found this exercise quite the adventure.  Good show!  Now, what is the next mystery to solve?  We'rrrrrree the Bloodhound Gang!

If you watch this thing, check out the sweet sequence at 1:35 into the clip.  It blew my mind.

From: Ross Entered on: April 27, 2007 9:46 AM

I think the early consensus is that Spidey 3 is good, but not as good as #2 (which isn't surprising as #2 is nearly perfect IMO).  Swerb called me after seeing it and without giving anything away pretty much said as much.  I've never understood why directors want to throw tons of villains into a movie when the track record for such movies is so poor.

Nonetheless, I'm trying to organize a team outing at work to take off early on Friday for a showing.

From: Swerb Entered on: April 28, 2007 9:27 AM

3 is definitely the funniest film in the franchise (the inevitable Bruce Campbell cameo is hilarious!), the most over-the-top comic-bookiest (in a good way) and definitely the longest. There seems to be a rush to wrap up plotlines, too. But most of the action sequences are uniformly excellent, as usual.

The use of multiple villains at least has some bearing on Peter Parker's character development - which can't be said of the Batman atrocities - if it's any consolation.

I'll say no more...

From: Ross Entered on: April 28, 2007 9:41 AM
Yes, luckily the Bruce Campbell cameo is one area that hasn't yet been spoiled for me and I've been looking forward to being surprised by it.  I'm still very excited to see this flick!

Swerb - Your Press review of "Next" had me laughing my ass off.  What a turd that sounds like. Seeing the future/Time travel shit just bugs me anyway.

From: Swerb Entered on: April 29, 2007 11:14 PM

Yeah, time travel stuff sucks most of the time... except when Jessica Biel is involved, and in that case, it gets a half-star above the absolute lowest rating possible because she's smokin' hot...

From: Ross Entered on: May 2, 2007 1:04 PM
Well, my original plan to leave work early on Friday and take in a matinee showing (presumably as a company outing) has fallen apart - I can't find anyone to go with me.  I could go by myself, but for some reason I'm just not so enthused to do so.  I dunno, would it be a betrayal to my fandom to wait until Sunday to go?

From: Jackzilla Entered on: May 2, 2007 1:24 PM

Waiting til Sunday to see Spidey 3!?  Oh boy, Bert.  Next step for you:  Changing diapers.

JohnnyBells, Radmobile and myself will be going full geek (or daff) and seeing it at midnight Thursday night.  I was hoping to win free tickets from Swerb, but apparently his integrity for having a random drawing actually be random trumps friendship.    (Just teasing Swerb -- thanks for the upcoming Press blurb!)

Fuck it, Bert!  I'm at least going down swinging!  (pun intended)

We haven't got much gaming time left till Diaper-palooza hits us, Bert.  Supposedly, 4 new maps for Gears of War are up for download on Live.  If you're on Live tonight (are you even home yet!?), Rad/Bells/Zilla will more than like be wasting time til midnight tonight trying them out!

I had a good time.  Some surprises, some good special effects (Sandman's origin especially), and Gwen Stacey had more powers than anything Ron Howard spawned would be expected to.  Not a perfect film, but I still give it thumbs.  Well worth staying up untill 3:00am over.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: May 4, 2007 12:18 PM

I concur.  Fuck the Bone!  Spidey 3 is SWEET!

There's some cool action sequences, some surprises... and some really funny bits!  There's a shit load of characters and stuff crammed into this thing, but it flows surprisingly well.  And the time went by quick for almost 2-1/2 hours.  THUMBS!

The new Gears of Wars maps?  Super awesome!  We played them a bit last night (where was Bert?).  We were testing out a flat-screen HD-TV in the ZAGNUT too and we were fighting over who got to play on that setup.  Several times one of us were caught with our pants down -- enjoying the crisp, HD graphics a little too much.

Back to work!  FCBD tomorrow!!!

From: Ross Entered on: May 4, 2007 6:05 PM

I just got back from seeing it.

SPOILER ALERT - DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE!

Not that I ever doubted him, but Swerb was right: it wasn't as good as #2.   That said, all the negative reviews were a bit harsh, I think.  I wonder: if this wasn't a sequel, and #2 wasn't so good, would the critics be as negative?  I really don't think so.

I actually enjoyed myself quite a bit.  I think I was actually more interested in the Harry/Peter relationship than the Peter/MJ relationship, probably because the latter seems a bit played out, whereas there was genuine intrigue with respect to when or whether Harry would get his vengeance on Peter.  I also liked the fact that despite possibly being the most expensive movie ever made, it still felt kind of like a comfortable down-home flick, the non-action scenes could be made from a movie of any size and I didn't get the sense that the filmmakers had an inflated sense of self importance.

The action was great, too: the initial scene of Harry fighting Peter might be the best one in the flick, and it was even better than the version they leaked early (yes I saw it enough times to notice every minute difference).   I also really liked the armored car scene for some reason.  Repeat viewings should help me iron out my thoughts on this since I tend to analyze the shit of stuff like that.  I almost wish I hadn't seen so much of the action in the previews (a familiar refrain, I know) because the scene in the subway tunnels that was super sweet, I had seen before.  Oh well.

I had read an interview with Sam Raimi the other day where he talked about the fact that he was toying with the idea of Venom merely being introduced in this, setting him up to be the main villain in #4.  I wondered the same thing early on, and I feel it would have been better that way, but he apparently got tons of mail from fans where they begged him not to do it that way.  So as a result, the whole Venom storyline kind of felt tacked on.  And he wasn't nearly as scary as he should have been when you realize that Eric from That 70's Show is the one making faces at you under the mask.  So I think that could have been better.

I never did understand why Raimi wanted to do Sandman so badly.  I mean, of the old Spidey villains, most of them, quite frankly, suck.  You have Green Goblin as the best, and Doc Ock as the likely runner up.  After that, the Lizard would be my next favorite - incidentally, did anyone else notice that Curt Connors makes a point of mentioning that he's a physicist, not a biologist, thereby screwing up the simple and elegant origin of the Lizard?  Anyway, that's about it for old-school villains in terms of dramatic value.  Do you realize they were in talks with Ben Kingsley early on to play the Vulture?  How bad would that have been?  Who else is there?  Kraven?  Chameleon?  Electro?  Mystereo? Shocker?  No, Venom is a much better villain than any of them and now a proper treatment of him is off-limits, which is really too bad because I think they started out on the right path, but just didn't give it its full due.

Speaking of characters not getting their due, what up with Gwen Stacy?  They've managed to nearly reverse the roles of her and MJ at this point according to comic lore.  Which I guess is okay, but still, she was barely necessary for the movie and it felt like maybe she shouldn't have been there.  But I'm not really complaining too much.  I do agree with Rad that she's better than Opie should have been able to produce, and she's definitely easier on the eyes than Kirsten Dunst and her amazing snaggleteeth.

Anyway, maybe some thought it was hokey, but I actually liked the resolution with Harry and Peter teaming up at the end, I thought it worked well.  And Swerb, perhaps rightly, complains about too many weepy proclamations of forgiveness in the movie, but I kind of think that, for better or worse, that's what the movie's core message was, so I will allow it.

One last gripe: the scene with Peter acting like an infantile retard due to his new suit was sort of funny, but I think by the next viewing, I will already be cringing.  I don't understand what could have been going through Peter's mind to make him behave like such a tool.  I laughed, but it was an uncomfortable, shifty, kind of laugh.

Overall, I give it the thumbs.  It's still one of the better superhero movies ever made (at this point comparisons are getting hard to do, though Rotten Tomatoes is giving it a shot - I haven't read it yet).  I'm looking forward to seeing it again - maybe even in IMAX when I visit GR for Fatty's party!

How'd I rate a "Fuck the Bone" I hadn't even chimed in yet?

Infantile retard, that's a classic.

From: Swerb Entered on: May 4, 2007 8:52 PM

Spoiler alert, of course.

The complaint I have is that the Sandman storyline seems almost unnecessary. Sure, Peter learned about forgiveness, etc., blah blah, but it bugged me that the whole plot arc was generated for its own sake.

I really enjoyed the Infantile Retard scenes. Laughed my ass off, actually. The musical sequence was a bit much, but totally unexpected. I just saw it as being really over the top, a serial nerd (which Peter essentially is, especially in the movies) gone very, very wrong. Some people scoff at the whole sequence, but I thought it was among the best stuff.

The action bits? Good, but I wouldn't call them great. I haven't seen any "action" in a movie that has impressed me in a long time. Maybe the car chase in "Grindhouse," otherwise, the last time I was really exhilirated by and goosebumply from an action sequence was "King Kong." I love Raimi's directorial skills, and he always deposits some little quirk amidst the melee that makes it unique, but that didn't really translate to the last 20 minutes, which was heavy and dull, I think. The Sandman/Venom team-up didn't have much of a payoff, and Harry rushing in to rescue Spidey was extremely predictable, and fucking cornball as hell. And the whole Harry-making-MJ-dump-Peter thing was lame.

Still, these are just nitpicks - at least 80 percent of the movie is good, it moves quickly, good pace for a 2+ hour movie, the subplots all pretty much have significance to the main character. I like making Eddie Brock sort of a Bizarro Peter Parker, and the black suit stuff was sweet (except for the non-explanation as to why Peter was "afflicted" with the symbiote - just pure shitty luck, it fell out of the sky, literally). I still found the MJ/Peter dynamic compelling. Bruce Campbell rules. So does J.K. Simmons, as J. Jonah Jameson - I just crack up every time he's on screen.

And Aunt May? She's fucking hot. Whew. Had me at attention every time she was on screen. Oh, shit - sorry, I thought I was Roche for a minute there.

The Bone said:

Thats hilarious!!!  I saw Jack's comment and wondered what the Bone said.  Surely it was a preemptive Bone Fucking, bracing for the colorful Bone commentary that will soon come.

Actually - 'Fuck' the Bone should find its way onto the JA Terms page.  I have heard (and said) it enough that it warrants documentation.  The history of it escapes me.  I just know it is said in respone to Bones never-ending supply of good karma.

From: Ross Entered on: May 5, 2007 10:11 AM

Swerb, I agree that the ending could have been a bit better but I think you're being overly harsh.  And as predictable as Harry coming to the rescue was, I didn't think it was cornball at all, I thought it worked well.  I can't believe you thought that was cornball but the Saturday Night Fever sequence wasn't.

As for the action, I was highly impressed by the initial Harry/Peter fight, it's just that my biggest reaction wasn't in the theater since I saw it so far ahead of time.  When Peter jumped off of Harry, shoots a web to the top of building, and spins in a long, slow arc while shooting web balls at Harry, that's genius material in my opinion.  Also the crane sequence, when Spidey is dodging the material as he falls, is fantastic.  I think you need a repeat viewing, my friend.  Still, none of it is quite as good as the train sequence from #2, but it's close.   And if the train sequence didn't impress you, then you might as well kill yourself man, cuz you're already dead inside.

And yes, Bruce Campbell rules.

From: Swerb Entered on: May 5, 2007 11:08 PM

OK, Bert, let me rephrase it, then: The Harry rescue was utterly predictable, but I didn't see the Saturday Night Fever sequence coming. I guess this means I'm placing more value on what surprises me, or catches me off guard.

You don't think the Harry rescue was cornball? Here's my argument: First, it's projected ahead of time, when Peter asks Scarface Harry for his help, and he turns away. It doesn't take Yoda or Nostradamus to tell us he'll be seen later in the movie. Then, in Spidey's utmost moment of need, in swoops Harry. Then, he sacrifices himself to save Spider-Man. Noble, yes, but this is the kind of shit that's become a cliche - because obviously, the world is better off with Spider-Man alive than dead. A more creative screenplay would have had Spider-Man figure out a way to save his own ass. I mean, good thing Harry showed up when he did (spouting cheesy dialogue, mind you) - three seconds later, and Sandman would have pounded Spidey into pancakes. Yawn.

Now, to clarify: As a whole, this is a damn good movie. It's so much better than, say, the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie, which was an entertainingly incomprehensible trainwreck. In criticspeak, I still gave Spidey 3 3.5 stars out of four. But #2 set a ridiculously high standard, and #3 doesn't live up to that, and deserves some criticism... but not nearly as harsh as what some other critics are saying.

And I didn't say I didn't like the train sequence. I think we're saying essentially the same thing - none of it's as good as the train sequence, therefore, we've kind of seen it all before, right? Now, of course, a second viewing is in order (for Sunday, on IMAX), and maybe I'll change my tune, but I'm not going back because of the action sequences - I was more enthused with the humorous tone of the film, the funny inside jokes, the Eddie Brock/Peter Parker dynamic. That's the stuff that stuck with me when I left the theater. I mean, the Bruce Campbell scene alone is worth the price of a third viewing.

Well argued, Swerb.  I guess I don't place quite as much emphasis on surprise as you do.  To a certain extent, cliche is expected in this genre - you know Spidey will never die, and he'll almost always end up saving the day.  And if the surprise is a shitty one, like, say the Roche wet dream of an Aunt May lingireie photoshoot, then they can keep their surprises.

But I get your point: new shit beats rehashed shit, generally speaking.  And that does go for most of the action stuff.  If we hadn't already seen Spidey doing ridiculously cool shit in #2, #3 would be a lot more jaw-dropping.  I still say that there is jaw dropping stuff here, but the problem is we're somewhat immunized to it now.

I'm glad you're not with the general critic bandwagon on this one.  What will be absurd is that I'm guessing the next Pirates movie will get better reviews than Spidey, and I think it's due to the fact that expectations were lower - everyone knew that this franchise is inferior (though the ticket receipts might not tell that tale) so as long as this next flick isn't one long shot of Johnny Depp taking a shit on the poop deck, they'll probably give it 3 stars.

Oh, one last point: Bone is going to hate this movie.  Nuff said.

I'm leaving to see it again in about an hour, can't wait!

I'm at a real lost as to why Spidey 3 is getting so many bad reviews.  I read Swerb's review, which I pretty much agreed with and didn't realize there were bad reviews coming in.  WTF?  61% on the Tomatometer?  That's obscene!  I had a great time!

By the way, I talked to Fatty today and he decided to wait to see it until he comes to visit next week.  We're thinking of a IMAX viewing... who's in?  Also: We gotta get together for at least one night of Gears of War system link.  What say you, Ross?  Swerb?  Creeko!?  Let's do it!

Yeah, if we can swing it, I'd love to.

I also agree about the reviews. I think they're mainly way off base on this one.  I've never seen such a good movie get such bad reviews.

This guy has some good criticisms of the Spidey 3 script.  Swerb, I expect you'll find this particularly interesting.  I agree with most of what he says though I'm willing to cut the movie more slack since it's a comic book and that's just kind of a hokey aspect of the genre.  I guess this is where translation from comic to movie tends to get a little sticky.

At least not since Armageddon.  Or maybe Days of Thunder.

Now you're just being difficult.

OK, that was just bomb throwing.  However, at lunch today (with our capable buddies) it was thrown out there that this was better than 2.  Pretty sure you would have set them straight, but as I haven't seen it yet I had to let it go.

Yes, the assertion that #3 is better than #2 is foolish in the extreme.  Tell me who said it and I'll put things right.

This is a good article on Spidey 3 and its strengths and weaknesses.  It's good because he says what I said, only better, and anyone who agrees with me is sweet.

I suspect that much of the negativity about the third film stems from how poorly it stands up to the second. I think that we have an Empire Strikes Back problem. Thinking people everywhere understand that Empire was, by far, the best of the original Star Wars trilogy. Jedi appears to be a weak entry in large part because of the strength of the second film, but Empire is the real outlier. Similarly, Spiderman III really isn't any worse than the first Spiderman flick. The problem is that Spiderman II was much, much better than it had any right being.

For some reason it drives me bat shit crazy when people forget the hyphen in Spider-Man.  I see it in reviews, articles and even the title of this thread.  Fuck the Bone!  Spell it right, people!

Yeah, Fuck the Bone!  Wait, what?

But why is Superman and Aquaman not hyphenated. Is it because they're jewish?

Oh yeah, and fuck The Bone.

I've noticed Jack's obsessive-compulsive nature when it comes to proper spelling of Spider-Man and always find it funny.  He's pretty easy going about most things but he decides to take a stand on this issue.

Bone does bring up a valid point.  Why aren't more heroes' names hyphenated?

It's been said before, but this time, once more, with authority: Bruce Campbell rules.
