I found these definitions of jackassery on the Urban Dictionary site.

I particulary like number 3 - "a large quantity of stupid, asinine behavior; typically referring to a group of people exhibiting poor judgment"

I like #2 just because of the use of "dubious" (JohnnyBells' favorite word, methinks):

dubious moronic action (bufoonery): foolish action or behavior

Clearly #2 wins, if for no other reason than it reminds me of Tony describing his enlisted crew members as "prone to acts of buffoonery".
