I'm on it!  I think I should have one this afternoon in fact!  I'll report back as soon as possible.  I plan to pick up Gears of War immediately.   Do I really need the video camera?   What version of Xbox Live do I need?  Gold or Silver?

Man - I am jonesing for another 360 and seeing the super bundle pack that just arrived here is no good.  The superbundle comes with a premium 360, wireless controller and recharger, wireless headset, wireless internet adapter, camera, and a game (Frickn FIFA - damn Eurotrash!)  I am just one bad judgment call away from buying it.  But the 4 months of no income and a hefty house payment is still keeping me on this side of sanity. Any chance of a JA Wedding Present Pool in care of my Finance Officer Mr. Zills?  The 360 was on my mental wedding registery.  Melinda would like something else, but shit, her friends gave her girly presents I don't care for!

This game is off the hook sweet!  Some of the best graphics I've ever seen!  I can't wait to see what online play is like!  Are we going to play co-op or versus?

We can play co-op if no one else is online.  Otherwise, if we can get a minimum of a 2x2 versus game... that would be sweet!  When I get on tonight, I'll look you up and invite you to a private chat.  Then we can talk and figure things out.  Private chat works on the dashboard, in-game or even when a game is loading!  Look for me at 10PM EST after Heroes...

Well, I am proud to say that if I am not yet a full man, at least I'm no longer a little bitch because I now own an Xbox 360 and its full sweetness has impressed itself upon me.   Last night was the most fun I've had playing games online in what seems like forever.  I can't wait to do it again!  Even though I mostly got my ass handed to me, Gears of War online is so much fun to play that it almost doesn't matter.  Whenever you guys are up for more, let me know!

Bert - Yes!  That was a blast!  There's nothing like ripping into an unsuspecting buddy with a chainsaw -- sending entrails flying -- to bring a smile to one's face.  And bring on the smack talk!  I love it! Ang & I have a concert tonight to go to.  If we're back soon enough though, I'm game for some more Xbox Live shenanigans this evening.

Yes, the jackophony is definitely omnipresent on Xbox Live.  I don't know how Heather doesn't slaughter me for my own screeches at times.  But it is a lot of fun, fo sho!

Meijer is frackin' sweet. I just got my brother-in-law Richie an Xbox 360 tonight.  We got a $479.99 bundle (with 2 wireless controllers, recharger, etc) for $304.88 out the door.  How?  20% off any single item (President's Day sale) + 15% off general merchandise (when charged to Meijer credit card) + 10% off employee discount (thanks to a Rookies customer who was working tonight).  Richie also got a couple games and an iPod for his kid.  All rung up individually for maximum savings. Oh yeah, with a deal like that, I had to get a second 360 too for system-link sweetness.

I worked one of my famous Meijer Specials (10% off videogames + 15% off general merchandise for seniors) and got him a sweet deal!  Now if we can just get Mr. Mustache to hook it up to the internet (he had lots of excuses for why this would be difficult... whatever!) We're gonna have to do some Live gaming soon!  Speaking of which:  Bert I notice you're never on anymore!  Better get it in while you can like I am!  We got BABIES coming!!!

I endorse this purchase.  I've been coaching him on the whole internet hookup thing, and while he is basically putting the Xbox in the worst possible location in his house for connectivity purpose, I don't think it's an insurmountable problem.  I would help out with the hookup but I'm not sure when I'm next going to be in GR....
