My new job
Entered on: November 15, 2006 3:43 PM by The Bone
Well I've known I was going back to Hawaii to work at the headquarters for the Commander, Pacific Fleet for a while now, but I found out today what I'll actually be doing. I'll be working in the Plans and Future Projects department in charge of the South Asia and Americas desk. It's typically a position held by a higher ranking officer but due to extraordinary luck and timing my record was a successful sell for the job. The best part is I'll travel periodically on the Navy's dime to the various regions. My predecessor has been to India, Thailand, Canada, Chile. This and my upgraded security clearance will get me closer to my goal of full James Bond status - the ultimate goal being to score chicks. By the by, I've listed several of you as references for my backgound investigation so tell them I'm a great citizen and I've never smoked weed.

Yeah, and I'm sure they'll never find out about this site, either...

Anyway, that sounds pretty freaking sweet.  Loan me the license to kill once in a while, I'll put it to good use, I promise.

Ah, the life of Bone.....  I am sure the position comes with a limosine with the little American flags flapping in the front.  Next time I am in Hawaii, I'll stop by your office for a Scotch and a Cuban.

The way your life goes, you will be the first Admiral that really could care less about getting the job, except it boosts up your retirement cash flow.  Speaking of your retirement....  Plan on getting a big house cuz I am coming to live off your fat-government-retirement dole.  I will do the dishes from time to time.  You will be my Sugar Bone!
