That "300" trailer looks promising. I was worried it would be yet another swords-and-sandals movie, which have outworn their welcome lately... but this appears to have some sweet visual style to it. And I always thought Nine Inch Nails instrumentals would make great soundtrack music, and here it is...

In related news, I just heard that after working on Sin City 2, Frank Miller will be directing a movie adaptation of Will Eisner's THE SPIRIT!  It seems Frank's had a complete about-face regarding Hollywood after working with Rodriguez.

Well, here is the appropriate thread for 300 posts.  We just got back from 300.  I'll have to admit, I was slightly disapointed....  I did not get one erection during the entire movie.  Other than that, the movie was frickin sweet!  I watched the documentary that Ross posted earlier, and was glad I did.  It made the movie more enjoyable knowing some of the background - what was real and such.  I'll have to check out the Graphic Novel shortly.

I remember reading the book (Bridge to Terabethia) in grade school.  I was a little surprised they'd make a movie of it and have no indication of the horrific ending in the trailers.  I imagine a lot of parents were in for a shock when they brought their kids to see what turned out to be such a depressing movie. I didn't see the movie, I'm just basing all this off my memory of the book.

I had to watch it basically because it fit within my plan to re-acquire Michelle as a girlfriend. It wan't my first choice but it didn't kill me. I was being facetious about the crying - I wouldn't cry even if Fatty died.. It was a pretty depressing ending though. Michelle teared up.
