I got into St. Louis 2 days ago. Got set up with a laptop, a cable modem and I'm rollin' Free Range style. Looks like its time to do some research baby!

Welcome back Creeko. Are you going to seek asylum? I've got your number and I'll give you a ring.

By the way, this is for everyone on JA - I'm watching Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. That movie is fucking great.

That is a sweet frickin movie - I caught it years ago....  It is definately right up Bone Alley, right next to the Thai Man-Whores and Mike Tyson.

I actually downloaded it a few weeks ago and never watched it.  I'll have to give it a showing this weekend.

If you've never seen it, I'd put it somewhere in the league of Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs - only in a little subdued, more British way. There is some great fucking dialogue in there.

Yea, I saw that a few years back. It gets my seal of approval.  I'm a Guy Ritchie fan

Scary dudes.  Scarier still is just the mere concept of rugby.  What kind of brain damage do you have to suffer to even attempt to play a game like that?

My theory is that sports replaces combat between animals/humans to satisfy a basic instinct for violence. Rugby has to be the most violent I can imagine besides actual combat sports like boxing and martial arts.

If I had to play Rugby though, I'd want to be on a team called the All Blacks. But back to my theory, people who don't even play sports nor can barely run to the end of the block to get a cheeseburger will support teams in a fanatical manner. I think it's because we want to feel a part of a larger group and a winning team at that. It all goes back to the horses ass.

Well - just a quick update.  I am here and am slowly getting into the swing of things.  The jet lag is nasty still.  I got a phone - 98 futoi 20394.  I will give you the rest later.  We also met the priest.  He is younger than me, which I don't know how to feel about that.... But, he is no ordinary priest - he is a Benedictine Monk and is pretty cool.  We are going out to see his monestary on Saturday.  I asked him if he will be wearing his big brown robe - No, but he did say he will be wearing a handsome black one!  I'll try and get a picture of him.  I did not ask if he knew any Kung Fu.  I tend to get my monks cornfused.

I am pretty happy with him being the guy marrying us - he is fully aware of me being an atheist.  He was in the US for a year and speaks english real well.  He is cool enough that I think we well have some beers later.
