I just read this book called Cosmic Banditos and I loved it so much I had to share it with you guys.  Bone, for some reason I especially think you'd like this one, but don't ask me why.  It's a very difficult book to explain, but it centers around a nameless guy who is a Central American bandito, who robs a family and winds up with some physics texts, which change his life and send him on a drug-induced mission based on finding the professor they took the books from and also ratting out his two-timing teenage nymphomaniac daughter.  It's a completely absurd book but I laughed my ass off the entire time.  

The guy who wrote it (check his site at the link above) is clearly insane.  He used to be some kind of drug runner (inspiration for the character) but now is just a surfer.   He disappeared into South America during the early 90s and came back to the US to find that his book became a cult hit on the internet.  A guy I work with was one of the zealots, who is actually mentioned in the forward to the book, and helped convince him to republish it.  You can get a copy at Amazon.com - I highly recommend it.
