I
think this is from the PBS Evolution series from a few years ago. I've
seen it before - and recognize Liam Neeson's narration.
And this is the same text I just typed in green "symbol" font:

I haven't messed around with the new features yet. Fun!

That's pretty sweet. I'm always fascinated by this shit. Life is amazing.
On
an unrelated note, have you guys seen the documantary, "The
Corporation" . It's been showing on the Sundance channel. It's fucking
fascinating. Here's a link to the website. You should check in to
it.
How do you post links with this new fangled sorcery?
1 way:
Paste the link in, same as always. This should definitely work. For example: http://www.fucktard.com
2nd way:
Select some text with your mouse that you want to turn into a link, and hit the button that looks like a chain. You'll notice that it becomes active once you select some text. Then you can paste the link into the window that comes up.
1st way doesn't work any more since you've implemented your black magic.
2nd way won't work either since the chain isn't available for me to select. I can see it but it's not selectable.
Bullshit is on right now. They're addressing 9/11 or ground zero in particular. Should be great.
1) Can you please try posting in a link and show me what it looks like, rather than just telling me it doesn't work? As I demonstrated above, I pasted in a link and it worked, so I need to see specifically what does and doesn't work since I'm unable to reproduce your problem without more information.
2) As I said, you must select your own text that you typed that you want to turn into a link. Actually drag the mouse over the text in the area you're typing in and highlight it. Once you do that, the chain button will become available for you.

I was about to suggest a revoke of Bone's linking privledges, but he
redeemed himself with the gay Janpanese guy. He actually made me
laugh.
Bone's posts still begs the question - where
does he find all of this questionable material? I have been
around some of those video sites and never found anything close to
Boneworthy.

Okay, I have hopefully fixed Bone's problem described in #1 even though he refused to help me diagnose it. It looked like it was sometimes inserting an extra space after links which caused them to fuck up. Bone's link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW4Hn6hoN7Y&search=hard%20gay
This should be work.
Give the link pasting a test and see if it works as expected. If not, let me know how to reproduce any problems.

Here is the same link using Ross's brand new sorcery.
Here is Kate's Playground!

Both seem to work for me. I did have a problem with the Xmen trailer. I'll try that one again.

Ross - not sure if this has anything to do about anything, but on
your recent Spidey 3 pics, they never show up on my browser. Then
in that same thread my link to the Xmen 3 trailers sends me to this:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /movies/2006/STUVWXYZ/X-Men-3/
on this server.
Apache/2.0.54 (Unix) Server at www.themoviebox.net Port 80
If I cut and paste it into my browser, it is no problem.
Does this help? If not, you can tell me what senarios to run for the trouble shooting.

Looks to me like it is fixed now. Both work fine for me.
The one in the Spidey thread still does not work, but that is before
your fix.

Yeah, I should have said, old posts will not be affected by this change. Only new ones.
So all your new ones seem to work, right?

Has anyone else seen Stephen Colbert's recent speech at the White House dinner, take the 20 minutes or so to watch it here. I can't believe some of the hilarious shit he says with Bush sitting 10 feet away from him. He has MASSIVE balls.

What do you mean it won't let you do it? You click ctrl-v and nothing happens? Does anyone else have this problem? Fatty? Jack? Swerb?
Anyway, yeah, I've known about the Westboro Baptist assholes for a while now. They run www.godhatesfags.com and www.godhatesamerica.com. Howard Stern has had them on his show a few times, and they make me sick. And to be fair, they are a tiny subsect of the Baptists, who generally might be nutty but nothing like these fruits.
Funny story, actually... I was listening to Stern one morning at work when they were on, and so I went to the godhatesfags site. Not a bright thing to do at work in the first place. But then, of course, a guy that I had worked with for months but met in person for the first time that day (he works in Oregon) stopped by my cube and saw what I had on the screen. I don't think the guy is gay (he is a bit effiminate, but that's not the point), but that's not a very sweet first impression. I never did discuss it with him but I have to wonder if, to this day, he thinks I'm a homophobe.

I think Bone is hitting ctrl-fuck shit up instead. Bone, there
are 2 ways to do the linking. Both involve pasting in the
address. You can either paste the address directly in here, like
always or you can create a link from a word or sentence link you did.
Other
than that, that crazy lady was on the news. It is an interesting
arguement for free speech. Does she have the right to do this at
or outside the cemetary? I would happily modify the free speech
freedom around cemetaries and funeral homes - if that can be
done. Shit, let people mourn their dead ones my man. Fuck
it, that is not free speech, she is trying to grab some
headlines. Give her a place to talk her crazy. It does not
have to be at the Damn Funeral!!!
She talks about gods will
killing off the evil ones. Bitch, it would not take much to wipe
you and your crappy little crazy church out. Keep trying to grab
some headlines. It will happen eventually.

Control V? WTF is that? I didn't see that any any Jackkassery Big
Book of Spells for this new sorcery. I've been doing like I always
have. Right click copy the link, right click paste the link. That
mehtod no longer works. I'll try this Control V bullshittery.
I
still support free speech and I'm all for crazy baptist church people
protesting around the funeral but I think the courts should allow for
some leniency when people whoop there ass. I know if
Michelle (who had been in Afghanistan in the Army) had been killed and
these guys showed up, they would recieve a whooping beyond dental
recognition.
Bone, I'm about to shave days off your computing life - ctrl-v is the universal shortcut for "paste". Ctrl-C is the universal shortcut for "copy", and Ctrl-X is the universal shortcut for "cut". Nothing to do with Jackassery, just every application known to man obeys these controls. So armed with this knowledge, you may paste in links with wild abandon, faster than ever before. Give it a try.

I tend to agree more with Bone - and not with Fatty on this topic. These lunatics should absolutely be protected under the First Amendment. Fatty, I'm ashamed of you. Her reasons are irrelevant! It is this type of speech that the first amendment was designed to protect! It's there to protect the people we disagree with. That, above all else is what makes this country more free than any other in the history of the world, and that my friends is what Roche would call a "flying fact."
Our country is in troubled times to be sure, but our Constitutional protections are second to none. And just because this lady is saying things are are upsetting (until you realize that she's not much different than someone who escaped from the asylum), you should use her as a reason to reflect on how great our country is that we can allow dissenting viewpoints to be so freely aired.

This test isn't that great, but it's fun:
The Ardent Atheist
The results are in, and it appears that you have scored 71%... |
You are an atheist, pure and simple. You think God is just one big lie, and consider religious people to be both annoying and beneath you. Ardent atheists will argue tooth and claw for their position, and have no truck with people that won't listen. You think being an atheist is the only way to lead an honest life, and see no reason to accept the pleas of faith. Ardent atheists are the backbone of atheism. Be proud. |

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:
