The dude they interview at the end has it exactly right. MS will never be able to stop us from hacking something that we buy from them. Perhaps they could help get some legislation passed (the DMCA is an example) that could technically make it illegal, but I have doubts that it would hold up in court, or at least not repeatedly. Eventually common sense will have to prevail.
