I had to post a little early to beat everyone at the punch with the usual MF'ers greeting. This remains one of my favorite holiday lines (from Christmas Vacation).
So what's everyone gettin' for Christmas this year?
So far, I've gotten a live GECKO from Angie (which I refused, and is now living at my sister-in-law's house), new gloves and album frames with classic albums already inside (Beatle's, Stevie Wonder, Hendrix, etc).
Back to the gecko: Did you know they eat live crickets? F that! I ain't a lizard-ownin' kind of guy! To hear Angie tell the story I took one look at the gecko and ran crying to my room. That's not ENTIRELY true.
Most of my Xmas loot will consist of clothes and DVDs, maybe some books. The usual complaint is that I always buy whatever I want for myself so no one knows what to buy me for gifts. So this year I've held off on Spider-Man 2 and Return of the King DVDs so they can be purchased for me. And I don't get 'em, there's gonna be hell to pay...
I just rented Xmas vacation - I love that movie! Glad you beat us to the punch, cuz it is now 12:30 am Dec 25...... I am officially the first in Xmas - so MERRY XMAS YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!! Yes, it still feels good! Love the time zones for this!
Jack, damn man, keep the Gecko. Besides being cute and having a great accent, they drive a snappy convertible and they also eat Cunt Worms. That alone is reason to keep one handy. You don't want an infestation of those fuckers!
