Entered on: April 15, 2004 10:46 PM by The Bone
Mike Tyson has signed on with K-1 for some kickboxing. I'm interested in seeing how this pans out for Crazy Mike.

This makes me think back to the old, old days when Roche was absolutely in awe of Tyson. He was sweet as fuck but has since lost his marbles. My secret desire is that he gets his shit together, trains like a madman and recaptures his former glory. It will never happen.

I agree that it would be sweet. Tyson is literally like a mad dog, who has no benefit to society except for the fact that he has the ability to amuse people with his brutality. He really belongs in the old Roman gladitorial days, when this shit would make him a superstar and he could thrive.

Yeah, in his hey day Iron Mike was an ass whupping machine. Since then he has fallen apart to a degree. He put up a reasonable fight with Lenox although in his hey day I think he could have knocked him out given his suspect jaw. He has taken out credible boxers in recent years but can't seem to go all the way. He's too mentally fucked up to recapture his former glory and that's what it boils down to.

Yeah Roche, but how about in a kickboxing match? You ever thought of that scenario?

Here's a short mpeg of some fantastic Tyson highlights from the old school days. It's set to some hienous fuzzy foreigner sountrack that Creeko would like but other than that it is spectacular. His punches are fucking unbelievable. I shit myself just watching it.

Holy fucking shit that was sweet. The exchange at 1:52 into the clip is amazing - it's like a movie, only no movie could ever be choreographed that well.
