A Fatty Homecoming!!!
Entered on: March 7, 2004 11:24 AM by BigFatty
Ok Fatty Fans - I just purchased my tickets for coming to GR on April 11 thru April 25. I'm coming thru Chicago so I will have to work out those details later. I am thinking train - Bert, I might hang at your house on my last weekend or something. We will figure something out. Creeko might make an appearance in GR too. It would be Uber-sweet if the Bone can get the time off then peel off some duckets from his grips of dollars for a plane ticket as well. Mark your calenders!

Sweet news, Fatty. I may be able to give you a ride to GR when you get into town. Just let me know the logistics.

From: Creeko Entered on: March 8, 2004 2:28 AM
You got room for three more?

I might fly into Chicago also. That's where the best deals are.

The hard part is getting there +/- at the same time as fatty.

I got my tickets. We're arriving on the 8th. We'll fly into Chicago and probably catch a fligh into GR.

I tried for the 11th but it ended up costing almost twice as much and the 8th and 9th is a holiday in Spain so I don't have to use vacation time.

Bone, I moved heaven and earth to see you in London. You gotta come to GR.

From: Ross Entered on: March 8, 2004 8:38 AM
Here's what I got. Anyone is welcome to stay for a day or two:

1 guest bathroom
1 full size futon
1 couch
1 loveseat

Got a couple of couches, sleep on the love seat...
Soy un pierdador, I'm a loser baby so why don't you kill me.

Bertilicious - I get into Chicago on Sunday April 11th at about 1:30pm. I don't expect you to drive me to GR then, I was hoping to catch the 5:30 train to GR. You think thats possible if Chicago does not screw me?

I return on Sunday the 25th. My flight leaves at 5:10pm from Chicago. I was hoping that this might work better if you are able to come to GR for a weekend visit - I could ride back with you then.

Give it a think - monkey-stink

I was thinking, especially if Bone were to make a trip (he's strangely silent on this topic), but even if not, I could take a couple days off and spend it in GR with you guys. If you guys have a good idea of when would be best, speak up and I'll reserve the vacation days now.

Yeah I looked into it and there is no way because of work committments in April. I wish I could though.

"monkey-stink"

BWA-HA HA HA HA HAA... *ack!*

From: Creeko Entered on: March 10, 2004 8:28 AM
I got my ticket! Make way for a new member on game night. Should I bring my controlers?

Bone - Work committments? Unless your fucking Bin Laden up the ass I don't want to hear about it.
Tell your comanding officer that this is a covert opperation and you would like to tell him the details but you would have to kill him.

Ya Bone - don't you have any pull around there yet? You have been there for frickin years. Its not like you are that important - shit, they got a whole frickin Navy. Its not just you protecting the welfare of freedom. Have the man cut you some slack. The Navy was around long before you and it will survive a week while you are gaming!

From: Jackzilla Entered on: March 10, 2004 9:24 AM
Oooh!!... this could be the first big gaming night in the new house! My basement will be unfinished but will have the necessities: A big ass sectional couch and multiple TV/xboxes!

Did I mention the tiling was done?

From: Ross Entered on: March 10, 2004 9:35 AM
Sounds good to me. Let me know when and I'll mark it down.

From: Swerb Entered on: March 11, 2004 10:13 PM
If anyone needs a GR crash pad, I have an extra bed and two comfy couches. The tile at my house isn't as fresh as Jack's, but it'll do for now.

Dibbs on Swerbs place! Dude, we will be in GR over 2 weekends. If that is too much traveling then the weekend of the 25 will work best for me. Come in earlier that week for some extra hanging time and I'll ride back to Chicago with you on Sunday, and hop on the Blue Line to Ohare.

I have not figured out Easter Sunday yet. Knowing Chicago, I will be spending the night with you that night. Not sure if someone will pick me up or I'll be training it.

Any offers to pick my up..... anyone, anyone.....

From: Creeko Entered on: March 12, 2004 4:35 AM
Same here, if anyone is planning to be in Chicago on the 8th and want's to take me and my woman back to GR just let me know.

Hello? Anyone?

From: Ross Entered on: March 12, 2004 9:14 AM
What do you mean anyone? You guys know I live in Chicago. The only potential crimp is that Easter Sunday I think I'm supposed to be in Heather's home town with her family. But I didn't think anyone was actually travelling that day?

Besides, *I* have dibs on Swerb's place! Fatty, you still have a condo in GR, do you not? WTF?

From: BigFatty Entered on: April 6, 2004 4:25 AM
Here is when I arrive in Chicago - Sunday April 11 on flight American Airlines flight 41 from Paris. It arrives at 4:30pm. I was wrong on the 1:30 time. Good thing Johnny is coming to get me - I would miss the train! Maybe Ross and Johnny can take the Blue Line out to meet me.....

If this causes problems let me know!!

From: Ross Entered on: April 6, 2004 7:46 AM
That works for me, dude. We'll see you Sunday, Fats! Bring me an American sandwich.

From: Jackzilla Entered on: April 6, 2004 9:31 AM
We're all gettin' BigFatty in our Easter baskets this year!

From: BigFatty Entered on: April 7, 2004 7:12 AM
Watch out for my chocolate easter eggs!

From: Creeko Entered on: April 7, 2004 2:46 PM
Creeko suave will be departing in 10 hours and I still haven't finished packing. Who needs sleep anyway?

From: Jackzilla Entered on: April 7, 2004 3:20 PM
Dude, I haven't finished packing and I'm not even leaving the city of Lowell! Yessiree, we closed on the new house today. It's gonna take the rest of the week to fill it full of my shit!

From: Ross Entered on: April 7, 2004 3:24 PM
Congrats, Jack. Can't wait to see the place.

From: BigFatty Entered on: April 8, 2004 6:12 AM
I'm all excited to come home for a visit! It will be nice to get back to the good ol' US of A. I think I can appreciate it more now. It will be nice to see the friends too - minus Tony - of course, but he is busy defending freedom and democracy from lesser cultures. God bless him. I hope to most of you Sunday as long as there are no more crazy train bombs on the railways! Crazy terrorist - we need Tony over here taking care of business (T.C.O.B.)

From: Jackzilla Entered on: April 8, 2004 9:36 AM
T.C.O.B.!!! MMMM, MMmmmm... now THAT'S some TASTY frozen yogurt!

We're all excited to see our Willy back too! You better not slip into any kind of gay Euro-Speak or I'll slap your ass half-way across the room and commence with the manly "DUDE? DUDE!" verbal exercise to knock it out of your system. This to reverse any kind of "cultural enrichment" that may have taken place during your travels.

From: BigFatty Entered on: April 9, 2004 7:38 AM
Dude - Don't worry about it. I'm here changing the eurotrash as we speak. Dude is now transcending many cultures thanks to my ambassadorship. The world won't change me, but I, I will change the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: Ross Entered on: April 10, 2004 11:16 AM
Alright Fatty, Roche is on his way to my house tonight, we're picking you up tomorrow at 4:30. Keep my number handy in case the process gets fornicated.
