Rodriguez to Co-Direct and Co-Produce Live Action Feature With 'Sin' Creator Frank Miller
NEW YORK, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Rodriguez ('Spy Kids' franchise, 'Once Upon A Time In Mexico') will direct the feature film based on the 'Sin City' series of comic books and graphic novels created, written, and illustrated by Frank Miller, it was announced today by Dimension Chairman Bob Weinstein.
'Sin City' is a series of stories of vengeance and redemption set in the grimiest, toughest city in the world. The film will incorporate storylines from three of Frank Miller's graphic novels including 'Sin City,' which launched the long-running, critically acclaimed series, as well as 'That Yellow Bastard' and 'The Big Fat Kill.'
Miller, creator of the character 'Electra,' has worked on some of the most important and best-selling comic books and graphic novels over the past two decades including "Dark Knight Returns" and 'Daredevil." Miller's longest running original series is "Sin City." His 'Hard Boiled' graphic novel is currently in development with Warner Brothers and Saturn Pictures.
"Robert Rodriguez came to me with a bold, coherent plan for bringing my baby to the screen," said Frank Miller. "I'm jumping at the chance. This is gonna be a whole new kind of crime movie."
"This is the first time a graphic novel will be treated with absolute respect in how it is brought to the life. My pitch to Frank was that I didn't want to adapt SIN CITY, but rather translate it to the screen. I also wanted him involved in every aspect of the production, including sharing in the directing. If you look at his books, you see that in a way they are already the best written, shot, and directed 'movies' never seen in a theater," said Robert Rodriguez.
"We are tremendously excited to have such a visionary filmmaker as Robert Rodriguez bring his unique perspective to SIN CITY," said Dimension Chairman Bob Weinstein.

This is incredibly scary and exciting at the same time. When I met Frank Miller a few years ago, people were asking about ever making a Sin City movie. He said, no way, never - he'd had too many bad experiences with filmmaking, and Sin City was too precious to him to risk fucking up. But time must have healed some wounds. Still, I can't help but be apprehensive. This could be bad. On the other hand, I do think that Robert Rodriguez is probably a decent guy to make it happen. And he seems genuinely interested in Frank's input, the limiting of which (I feel) is what has ruined Frank's big screen ventures in the past.

Well, at least Rodriguez is a credible director... I mean, Once Upon a Time in Mexico didn't make a whole lot of sense, but it LOOKED pretty sweet. He's definitely more of a style-sensitive guy - if you ask me, Sin City is an exercise in style more than anything else. It could be very cool, methinks.
Yes, in fact, the opening scene in Desperado has somewhat of a Sin City flair to it, in my opinion. I'm not sure there really are any directors who would be perfect to make this movie, but it's promising that they're billing Frank as co-director.
And noboby better start spouting off about Robocop 2 or any lame shit like that! Frank wasn't an active participant in the making of that movie like he will be in this one. If Sin City sucks, then I'll shut up. Until then, we will all remain cautiously optimistic.
So it is written.

This sounds like it could be promising with Frank at the helm. I would love to see Sin City come to life. Those were some sweet ass comic books. It seems like comic book movies are the big thing in Hollywood right now and I love it.

More info today from www.comicbookresources.com:
We received an anonymous email with rumors about the Frank Miller adaptation which revealed some casting tidbits. "First thing I can tell you is that this movie is going to be bigger than any of Robert [Rodriguez]'s other movies, with talent involved ... way bigger than 'Once Upon A Time' ... I was also told that everyone's names are going to be released this week ... Everyone WANTS to be in this movie ... that's the only reason I'm giving the heads up ... Josh Hartnet IS cast in the movie, along with Elijah Wood. Michael Douglas has been asked to be in it, which is looking like its going to happen."

Ah man, I hate Josh Hartnet - and Frodo? Whatever. When you say "We received an anonymous email", do you mean specifically to this site?

No, I'll go back and put it in "quotable" text so it's apparent. I cut-and-pasted the article directly from the site. So the anonymous email was to them. Sorry for the confusion.
I do agree though - Fartnet is not sweet. And Frodo is decent but I can't imagine anyone less apt to be found in a town like Sin City. We'll see.

Finally, some more news out today:
From The Hollywood Reporter
The Vine: All-star lineup seduced by 'Sin'
Robert Rodriguez is packing up a U-Haul with a host of top talent in
hopes that they'll move into "Sin City," which he is directing for
Dimension Films. According to multiple sources, Leonardo DiCaprio,
Bruce Willis, Elijah Wood, Mickey Rourke, Brittany Murphy, Kate
Bosworth and Jaime King have been targeted for the film, an
adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel series. Some of the actors
have already signed on for parts in the pic, while others are only in
discussions or have just received offers to join the cast. Other names
being bandied about include Benicio Del Toro and Maria Bello, though offers
had not yet gone out to either as of late Wednesday. Set to
start shooting shortly, "Sin City" will be composed of three intertwining
vignettes revolving around a dark set of characters that
call the fictional corrupt town home. (Chris Gardner)
That is a pretty sweet list. I wonder who Bruce Willis would be? All I know is that Mickey Rourke really is a sweet choice for Marv - that's gotta be who he is going to be. In fact, I can't think of any other Hollywood dude who is more suited to Marv than him.
Mickey Rourke is so far gone... so yeah, he's perfect. Have you seen Barfly? Great movie (probably in my top, oh, 17.8 movies ever), and one where Rourke actually lives up to his considerable acting potential.
Willis and even DiCaprio are good choices. I think DiCaprio has overcome his heartthrob status thanks to Gangs of New York, which shows he can be gritty as fuck.
Yeah, I liked Barfly. And yes, I agree that DiCaprio could be good. Obviously this movie sounds kind of like a Pulp Fiction ripoff (but I still think it's a great idea) so we know Willis has done that before. I'm still optimistic, I can't help but be.

Rodriguez Resigns from DGA to Direct Sin City
Source: Variety Friday, March 19, 2004
Variety says that Robert Rodriguez has resigned from the Directors Guild of America in order to direct the upcoming Sin City adaptation for Dimension. The film starts shooting on sound stages in Austin, Texas on Monday.
Days before beginning production on the Dimension drama "Sin City," Rodriguez resigned his DGA membership so that he could co-direct with Frank Miller, a film neophyte who created, wrote and illustrated the three-book graphic novel series on which the movie is based.
DGA rules dictate that there be only one director assigned to direct a motion picture at any given time, although the guild occasionally grants a waiver to that policy. On Thursday, a DGA spokesman said, "The guild regrets Mr. Rodriguez's resignation, however, we stand firmly behind the principle of one director-one film."
For one thing, Rodriguez plans to have Quentin Tarantino direct part of the film, along with Miller and him. Tarantino may be billed as a "special guest director" or whatever title Rodriguez wants to bestow, now that he's no longer under strict DGA guidelines about who gets behind-the-camera credit.
He hardly seemed rattled, for instance, that aside from his DGA defection and welcoming a new baby, he was in the thick of assembling cast for a film that begins shooting in four days. Rodriguez has been talking with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Bruce Willis, Steve Buscemi, Brittany Murphy, Christopher Walken and Michael Douglas.
All that's certain is that Mickey Rourke will anchor the story segment that will begin shooting Monday. The remaining cast will draw from those who are available for a reasonable price to work a short shift in a cool film.
Though Miller has done acclaimed graphic novels on Batman and Daredevil and created the Elektra character that will be reprised by Jennifer Garner in the Rob Bowman-directed "Daredevil" spinoff film, the author refused to sell "Sin City" to any filmmaker. Rodriguez wanted it badly enough to write a feature script on spec and shoot the first scene on his own dime with Josh Hartnett and Marley Shelton. That and a promise to make Miller his co-director won Rodriguez the property.
Quentin Fucking Tarantino?! Now you're talkin'!

Okay, and now for the Fat Harry angle. Now, before you all (this means you especially, Swerb) start groaning about what a retread Harry is, hold on. He is a buffoon, yes, but he also happens to be good friends with Robert Rodriguez. So when he has dirt on this one, I'd tend to listen with a bit less than your average grain of salt.
Harry breaks down the casting here:

Most interesting is Bruce Willis as Hartigan. Willis is great in movies like these but I'm not seeing this just yet.

This is pretty funny. I was just digging around on google's cache of old Usenet News postings where I used to hang out before the Internet was absurdly large. I found a very interesting post of mine from almost 8 years ago:

I'd have to go with a solid NOPE on that one. Woo is fine in his own
right, and he is perfectly competent in directing similar themes to
some of the Sin City stuff, but his style is all wrong. And that's
really what makes Frank the master that he is... the style. I could
never picture a narrative by Marv in a Woo film. Miller's stuff is
darker, too... artfully dark. I wonder if Frank himself would be up
to the task. After all, his composition is fairly cinematic for a
comic book artist.

This chick will be playing Marv's lesbian parole officer who a) spends most of her time topless, and b) gets her hand cut off and eaten. Here's a picture of her from IMDB, she actually looks just like the comic version, if memory serves.

It's been a couple weeks, time for more Sin City news:
http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/507/507727p1.html ?fromint=1
It includes the details that Bruce Willis is playing Hartigan and that Mickey Rourke is a heavily-made-up Marv.
Also this blurb is cool:
"CBR's own Rich Johnston caught a spy report from the set of the Frank Miller adaptation. The notes follow: "They were filming the strip club scene. Apparently, this will be the most faithful adaptation of a comic in history, because their shooting script was xeroxed copies of Sin City. They line up the camera to look like the panel, and they shoot ... They're filming 'Sin City, That Yellow Bastard' and 'The Big Fat Kill.' The stories will be cut together 'Pulp Fiction' style. An intro starring Josh Hartnett is from 'Booze, Broads, and Bullets' ... Mickey Rourke as Marv. They used prosthetics to make him true to the comic: square jaw, flat nose, everything ... Nancy hasn't been cast yet. They used a stand in ... Frank Miller is on set."

Yeah, there's a pretty cool short article in Entertainment Weekly this week about it, and how Rodriguez had to quit the Director's Guild in order to keep Miller involved as a co-director. This thing is coming together nicely.

Roche, Sin City is poised to become your favorite movie. Check this out:
http://comingsoon.net/news.php?id=4443
Jessica Alba is going to be playing Nancy, the stripper! I somehow doubt she'll actually be stripping down, but in the comics, Nancy is naked about 90% of the time.

Is Nancy supposed to be dumpy?

Jessica Alba, sounds good to me. She needs to suck it up and get naked for the role if you ask me. I know she can dance so she may as well be nude doing it.
Bone, I'm not falling for the bait, dude.

Everything I've been able to dig up has stated that Jessica will only be doing underwear scenes in Sin City. This sucks the big one. Now I'm not sure I even want to see this movie anymore (just kidding). The boob shot you have of her is a body double, Bert, just to let you know. I can't wait to see this film but it would have been sweet for me at least to have Jessica titties to look forward to. I know Zilla would agree.

You're right, Roche. This just in from People magazine:
We've heard about actors having to peel away all the layers to get to the heart of their performance, but Jessica Alba is bringing new meaning to the concept for her role in the movie Sin City (due next year). "I play a stripper," she tells us. "I've been going to strip clubs and seeing about what to do. ... I'm trying to figure out the performance. (Strippers are) so, like, skanky, you know, it's just about getting a tip and doing a lap dance, but (my character) does a performance, so I have to go hit up some drag shows or something." So, what can we look forward to in Alba's striptease? "My character has chaps and a lasso, but I'm not going to be naked ? no nudity," she says (sorry, guys). And no choreographer, either. Director Robert Rodriguez (Spy Kids) "wants me to just feel the music," says Alba. "So I'm going to be in my hotel room (on location in Austin) with chaps trying to figure out what to do."

I guess this will be the part of the movie where the Bone will leave and refill his popcorn tub.

Alright I snagged some screenshots. It was short and sweet, and only showed Bruce Willis as Hartigan and Jessica Alba as Nancy. All I know is that JA is looking hot, and if you can't admit it, you're very, very gay.
I must be gay cause JA looks like skinny yet flabby version of the Abominable Snowman from Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer claymation movie. Note the leg flab hanging off the chaps on pic #2. Just to make you happy, I'd hit hit though.
Geigh.
Do you see any flab in this one?
I originally omitted it since it was so similar to #2, but leave it to nitpickers to make its inclusion necessary.
If that's flabby, then perhaps Skeletor is more the Bone's brand of justice.

I'm not into skinny, just toned my man. You can be thick and juicy yet toned.
What I don't get is how you can think she's not toned. There must be some kind of deep-rooted irrational bias you have against her, that's all I can think of.

Wow - this is really looking cool! The whole thing shot with green screens... what will the backgrounds be I wonder? Sounds like everyone wants to be in this thing too!
I'm wondering the same thing. Will they be black and white? Will the whole movie be black and white? Will they be stylized, like the comics, or even DRAWN, like in the comics? Very intriguing.
Oh, the other interesting item of note is that it appears that "A Dame to Kill For" is not one of the three vignettes - instead, it's the fourth story, "The Big Fat Kill." Roche and Bone, have you guys read all of these? If not, time to pick them up.
Hey, what's Tarantino's involvement in this? He's not mentioned in the articles. Was that just a bunch of bullshit, or is he going to direct one of the other vignettes?
Good question. I do not know.
Scratch that. The daily Sin City news arrived in my mailbox (courtesy Google News) and this article:
http://www.empireonline.co.uk/site/news/newsstory.a sp?news_id=15863
in the last paragraph mentions that QT will be directing "the last segment," whatever that means. Either the last vignette, or the last scene? Not sure.

Where is the flab the Bone is referring to? Either I'm blind or someone is full on crazy. Methinks the latter applies.

Pic #2 flab hangs out of boot
Pic #3 is ok cause it's BW
Pic #4 resembles Courtney Love
Pic #5 is BW again
Pic #6 she looks like a poodle. She is the antithesis of nubile.
Don't get me wrong, I'd hit the stank right on out of her, but she is nothing special so I have to bring balance to the Universe since all you Jessica Alba nut huggers are so damn crazy about her.
Now you're just talking crazy.
I'm not a huge Jessica Alba fan, but I can recognize an attractive woman when I see one. I'm afraid that the only way I can give you the benefit of the doubt is to say that all inflowing data channels into Hawaii are warped, and you're just not seeing the same images that the rest of us are.

HA HA HA HA HAAAAAA!!! Bone - I don't know KARATE but I do know KA-RAZY! Me thinks you've been ingesting Hawaiian Tropics Suntan Lotion... just cuz it smells good doesn't mean you eat it! Drink some Diet Ruby Red Squirt to cleanse your body and try again.

The funny thing is I've seen pics of ALba where she is way more attractive. These particular pics are the worst examples I've ever seen. If you are going to cruise around town riding the Jessica Alba bandwagon, get some decent pictures at least!

YEE-HA!! Slow this crazy bandwagon down!

Bone, I think it's time to just capitulate and admit you're crazy so we can end this absurd debate. Clearly you are out of your mind.

Is the Jessica Alba Bandwagon anything like the Chuckwagon from the old commericals, but with Johnny and Ross chasing after it instead of dogs?
I'd rather more refer to it as the "heterosexual male" bandwagon, on which I am a proud rider. The Bone seems to have lost his ticket, however.
I have to side with The Bone on this one, Jessica Alba is far too ordinary to warrant so much debate. Even so, I?d still poke her in the poo- poo.
I respect The Bone for sticking to his guns. If he didn't like her to begin with, what makes you guys think some stanky pictures are going to make him change his mind?

Creeko, you always had much better judgement and good taste than the rest of these heathens.

I really do relish my heathen status, in all interpretations of the word.

Jessica Alba is the Denny's of hot actresses. At 3 am after a night of hard drinking its a great idea. I'd fire it up but I'm not going to write a newspaper column about it. The Alba bandwagon is equivelent to the"heterosexual bandwagen"? Shit negro, she looks like an albino marmoset. If forced to choose between the the Alba put-put mobile and the Lindsey Lohan super deluxe heterosexual nubile express frieght train of love, then it's a clear choice for me. You're a bunch of closet kittens if you disagree!

Alright, that made me laugh hard enough to agree with whatever you say, smokey. I'm afraid that all counter-argument fail in the face of the Argument from Albino Marmoset.

Michael Clarke Duncan has joined Sin City:
http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/524/524477p1.html
The announcement hasn't mentioned who he's playing but it's obviously "Manute" from "A Dame to Kill For" - they haven't announced any other big black dudes, and he's a major character in that one. I was wondering when we'd find out who Manute would be. I was personally vying for the dude on NYPD blue, or the beat cop on The Shield, but MCD works okay for me.

Tarantino Confirmed for Sin City
And not exactly for a fistful of dollars, either!
June 29, 2004 - Variety has confirmed that Quentin Tarantino has directed part of Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's big-screen adaptation of the latter's Sin City graphic novel series.
So how much did it cost to hire QT? Precisely one dollar. That's reportedly the same amount Tarantino paid Rodriguez to score Kill Bill Vol. 2.
The trade says "Tarantino filmed a scene in the final segment featuring Clive Owen, Benicio Del Toro and Brittany Murphy."
He also went to Sin City's Austin set "because he wanted to sample the digital filmmaking techniques Rodriguez used."

That does sound sweet as fuck. I liked Clive Owen as King Arthur in what was an okay movie. As we all know I just like that genre is all. I can't wait to see some preveiws of Sin City so I can see it's style. They sure do make it sound cool though.

We have new movie posters from Sin City:
This chick looks EXACTLY like the comic book - I'm not even sure this isn't somehow melded with a drawn picture of Gail.
This is Goldie - the chick that Marv sleeps with and sets him off on his crusade to find her killer.
And now we have Jessica Alba as Nancy. I'll have to admit, she looks a bit cross-eyed in this picture.

Good lord I can't take it! I am going to full-on crap my pants at my desk, I am so excited and jealous of the fucks who have seen shit from Sin City! This is going to be the greatest movie of all time! Fuck Spider-Man, fuck Star Wars, fuck it all! I don't care if I never see another movie, this is the only one I want to see.
From a blurb from a dude on AICN:
"I am not familiar with the books but have been curious as hell about what this film could look like after hearing reports of some sort of revolutionary process Robert Rodriguez is implementing. Well, this bloke doesn't fuck around. Within five minutes of showing up he asks us if we want to see the opening scene that he used to convince Frank Miller, Bruce Willis, the Studio, etc. that this was a movie worth being involved with. Three seconds (literally) into the clip I turned to my lady and said, "I am fucking dying to see this movie now." This flick pops off the screen. Stark blacks and whites, exciting use of color, kick ass music, disturbing looking characters, and NOTHING like Kill Bill. I can't really say more about this one, it looks to be a knockout. "
and another guy:
"SIN CITY: Uh.........oh my bloody, bloody, bloody hell. WOW. Rodriguez was funny to listen to because he is so into this material and obviously is giving Hollywood the finger whenever he can. He repeated over and over and over and over and over and over (10 more overs) that he wanted to make Frank Miller's movie, not change it. The clips were breath-taking and original and WOW. The character sketches interspersed with movie characters were just perfect. In this flick I LOVE Alba with all of my heart. I now love Rosario Dawson who looked perfect beyond all the other perfects and Benecio and Bruce (Willis) and the lot of them. I am in love. I can't say enough sincerely good things about what were were shown and what we heard. My little geek friends (fellow geeks) of all ages and various levels of comic interest (from freakish devotee to non-readers) all had similar reactions. TO me, this kicked Star Wars in the ass. IT was the absolute opposite of the 2 hour Star Wars commercial. Speak of the devil... "

I'll chime in with some pants-shittingness here, too, because this project has been fucking sweet since the beginning, and it's getting better every day. Rosario Dawson looks awesome. So does Alba, actually (save for the cross-eyed-ness). And the fact that it'll be extended for DVD is great. I can't wait...

Here is a clearer picture of Gail, along with the comic book version she is portraying. This is simply the coolest adaptation I've ever seen. Where's that peanut butter??

Swerb, "So does Alba, actually (save for the cross-eyed-ness)", what the fuck are you talking about, dude? I've seen every episode of Dark Angel and I can assure you Jessica Alba is NOT cross-eyed. You have one fucked up imagination, my friend.

Roche I don't know what's up with your contrary nature today, but look at that picture and tell me she doesn't look at least a little bit cross eyed. How about a little love for Sin City while you're at it?
You are no fan, no fan at all...

It's hard not to be crossed eyed when your face is crooked.

Bone, your retarded comments fall on deaf ears. Bert, just because one pic seems to look cross eyed doesn't mean shit. Everyone varies from pic to pic. What I'm saying is I've seen her in her show and in interviews and she's not cross eyed. It's preposterous to even suggest it.

Dude, all we said was that she LOOKED cross eyed in the picture. That's it.
The way you stick up for her you'd think her name was Jessica Rocheba or something...

Are we REALLY discussing Jessica Alba again? GOOD LORD!

Unfortunately, Zilla. What, I can't be a fan of a hot chick? Everyone has famous chicks their partial to and not everyone would agree with the magnitude of their hottness. Mine is the only one who needs to be brought up on a regular basis. Look, Kate Winslet is sometimes fat, Kirsten Dunst has fucked up teeth yet some people on this site give them props. This is fine, to each their own, just leave Jessica out of it.

Bone: Alba's face may be slightly crooked, but have you ever looked at Shannen Doherty? She takes the cake when it comes to face-crookedness... it looks like she was pulled out of the womb with a monkey wrench.
I would also debate that Kate Winslet is "sometimes fat." Sure, she's more curvy than your typical Hollywood waif, but that's why I like her. Bony, skinny broads do nuthin' for me - I likes 'em with a bit 'o' meat on their bones!

There's a difference between "being a fan" and jumping to her aid if someone says she looks funny in a particular picture, in the face of all reason. I swear, how you got to having zero support for Sin City and maximum support for Jessica Alba is beyond me, man.

Dude, she's fat. If you like a little cottage cheese that's fine by me. I'm not judging you in your choice so don't judge mine. I don't think Alba's face is crooked and I love her cocksucking lips. I agree that Shannon Dohorty has a crooked face, though.

Bert, I know Jessica Alba is hot at least to me. What I don't know is if Sin City is a sweet movie because I haven't seen it. Alba I've seen, Sin City I haven't or is that beyond you? If when I see Sin City and it turns out to be everything you purport it is I'll defend it vehemently.

Roche, I'm not saying that I expect you to to defend Sin City like you do Alba (someone whom you've never actually seen with your own two eyes, by the way, and who for all you know is a royal bitch in person). What I am saying is that I have laid out AMPLE evidence that this movie looks like it's going to be good. Coupled with your (now dubious) claim that you actually like the source material, and that you have shown a tendency to at least mention that you're somewhat excited to see movies of this type, it is shocking to me that you can't even seem to muster a "yeah, looks cool" kind of response, and instead quibble over the minutia of others' commentary on a particular photograph of your latest infatuation.

Yeah, looks cool! There, are you satisfied? Now shut the fuck up.

Yeah, I think you were right, Roche. You really don't have the hang of this "internet talking" thing - you don't realize that actually telling others to "shut the fuck up" is actually inappropriate. Maybe it's time to go back to your porn sites for a while where you can say whatever you want to the girls and they don't talk back.

What are you taliking about Bert? Roche was obviously fucking with you because of your excessive enthusiasm of the subject. The more you expressed interest, the more he feigned ambivalance. Finally, Roche responded to your well thought out response with a simple yet genious one liner which I'm sure felt like a butnick from days of yore. I was just thinking to myself, that this tit for tat exchange was Roche's finest display I've ever seen on JA.

You could be right - if so, I'm the victim of a far sweeter version of Roche than I'm used to. But it is for that very reason that I doubt it's true - I don't think Roche could anticipate my reaction far enough in advance for it all to be a ploy.

Even though I pretty much already knew this, this is reassuring. From an interview with Josh Fartnett:
What?s your character in ?Sin City??
I play a kind of unnamed character. I?m only in it for two? The reason I got into it is because Robert Rodriguez needed to get the rights from Frank Miller. Frank had felt like he had been duped before. He didn?t want to give the rights away to his baby, ?Sin City.? I had worked with Robert before and I told him at the time, anytime he ever wanted me to do anything, I?d be up for it. And I was about to go shoot ?Mozart.? He was like, ?Well, just come down here for a couple days. We?ll shot a scene and show Frank that we?re going to do this right.? So I went down there and then Frank gave him the rights after that. Then Robert called me back after I got done with ?Mozart? and said, ?Can you come down and just do one more scene for the end of the movie.? So I?m just in the beginning and the end.
Just for grins, I scanned one of the three (literally, three) pages of the entire story that Hartnett is in. It's a very cool story, and I'm sure he won't be nearly as sweet as the character he plays, but there's not that much he can fuck up in the grand scheme of things.

The first of the new edition Sin City trade paperbacks are in. They're slightly smaller in size and feature the "Now A Major Motion Picture" blurb. They're numbered too so you know what order to read them in. I assume you'll want a full set, Bert? :)
J A C K A S S E R Y S P E C I A L !
Stop into Rookies and mention this blurb and save 25% off the cover price on all Sin City books! (That should keep you bastards out of Barnes & Noble, as no doubt, Sin City fever will soon sweep the nation and invade the traditional book stores).
