Matrix Chip
Entered on: April 9, 2003 12:15 AM by The Bone
I have finally gotten on board with the program and purchased a Matrix chip. I'm sure I will have to consult the considerable expertise of this forum during installation.

Jack - if I sent you some cold hard cash, or a check, would you burn a few games for me?

Bone - There is some good info that I just put up on my website that were video captured from Tech TV. You might need some funky codecs to view them, though. They showcase all the uses of a modded Xbox.

Also, I can hook you up, probably. Though Jack is probably best at creating ridiculous Bone-specific game menus.

Bone - I can set you up. Pappa like cash! Keep your Bone Photos to yourself though!

Have fun installing it. I have Willie -- who's quite the pro at this point in installing them suckas (4 down!). While I myself have quite the arsenal of 'wares. Together we've become quite the Xbox team. Let me know when you got it working and we can work something out.

Speaking of xbox-ing and hardware shit - I couldn't resist - today I went to Circuit City and got that 100GB HDD for $70. Damn you ZillaFatties!!!

HA HA ha ha!!! I knew you couldn't resist THAT deal! SWEET, ain't it?!

Now I got 220 GIG on the ZillaStation and 120 GIG on the ZillaBox. Elmer (aka Sulu) remains at 14 GIG (yet no sign of jealousy).

I got the latest Xbox Media Player going too (version 2.3--4/11/03 build) and that thing's getting sweeter all the time! Now it has visualization (light shows) when playing music! I'm gonna keep ripping my CDs to MP3 (I got plenty of space!)-- I love being able to access it all in my living room. XBMP even shows album covers (if you give it the thumbnails).

Oh yeah.. I got XPAD too. It actually lets you read/edit text files on your xbox.

What do we got coming up? Wolverine, sure. But I want BRUTE FORCE! Ross, have you read about this one? OMG! It should ROCK (it features co-op play with SYSTEM LINK!).

Yes, Brute Force looks awesome, I can't wait. It's been on the radar for like a year now. The next xbox toy I want is the Logitech wireless controller. I saw it at Circuit City today for $60:

But you want to get geeky? Here's what I have in my tiny 1 bedroom apartment:

Main computer - 60 + 80 + 120GB drives.
Rosstation - 20 + 60 + 100GB drives.
Xbox - 80 GB drive.
Web Server - 40 GB drive
Laptop - 30 GB drive
Laptop #2 - 20 GB drive

It's room for a whole lotta...stuff.

Just think, in your apartment you have about 2000 times the processing power that the scientists and engineers had during the Manhatten Project and the Apollo space program combined. All you have to show for it is a bunch of games, porn, and movies. Those other guys were waisting their time

Bone -

Fatty & I were working on your BoneBox graphics tonight. And I have created JACKZILLA'S MODBOX INSTALLER. This simple disc, when booted up on your freshly modded box (if you ever get that chip) will automatically setup your harddrive full of great shit, including:

- The latest EvoX dashboard w/ custom "BoneBox" menu with graphics!
- Emulators! All the old classics... literally HUNDREDS of games!
- Homebrew games! Including Doom, Quake, Pong... and my new fav Bomberman!
- Utilities like boXplorer, ConfigMagic, X-Pad
- Xbox Media Player (play MP3's, etc).
- DVD-X (play DVD movies without the remote)
- Plus whatever else we can think of!

SWEET and EASY as SHIT to install! Remember, that's JACKZILLA'S MODBOX INSTALLER (tm). Available at participating Red Lobster restaurants.

To borrow a quote from Realultimatepower. "That is sweet - and by sweet I mean it "flips out, kicks ass and is sweet!"

Thanks for all the stuff. Kristen is really going to love me even more when I get my Bone Box on line. My modchip order has finally been processed and will be here in 3-5 days.
